Stayed here for 5 nights and it was our first visit to Lonbock. Our arrival we were meet by friendly efficient staff, this was a theam that would continue throughout our stay. Our room was lovely and clean with a great view of the sea & pool. Whilst the hotel was no where near full there seems to be plenty of sun beds spare. The pool is fantastic, very large and well maintained. The food was good and catered for all tastes, but a special mention to the breakfast buffet which catered for every taste from every part of the world. Nice touch having a pianist playing during breakfast. Room service was also very good. As people have said the hotel is a little tired, but it's compensated it's cleanliness and superb staff.

A couple staying a few nights in Lombok. We chose the hotel due to the name of Sheraton, a well known hotel chain. On a good note - the pool was clean and well kept; the staff were friendly. The beach and sea water is filthy, the beach is a mess, the hotel is worn. The beer we had appears to be pre covid, they go a bit flat and stale after a few years. I went into the tide on our first arrival going by the photos; my bad. Not a healthy seaside. Few people staying, nobody for more than a day or two. My opinion only : Bottom line - not a good place. Not good for the company name of Sheraton; not a good stay, glad to get out

Please know that the parts of seaside you showed through the photos here are misleading and making incorrect claim as, in fact, they’re not in front of our resort. Whereas, the second is actually our turtle pond that was being cleaned at the time the photo was taken. On the other hand, whilst it could be difficult as the changing currents could draw rubbish onto the shore at certain times, please know that our team always works tirelessly to ensure the beach can be enjoyed by our guests. Unfortunately, we're not able to control the weather, so we apologize if it caused you inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback about the beers. Following the standards, we don’t keep our beers longer than 2 years and always ensure only the freshest beers are served to our guests. Our first time to Lombok, we travelled in December 2022 with 2 children; we have stayed in many equivalent 4/5 star hotels around Asia and certainly Bali, but this Sheraton is certainly not 4*. It would be very fair to say that everyone that we spoke to on our trip would agree. Unfortunately the weather was dreadful in December and it rained almost constantly during the 10-day stay which was quite unusual. Tired and shabby: The hotel is tired and run-down and staff agree urging me to write a review so that they could lobby for extra funding; I have a feeling they are consatntly told this by guests. The room was really not 4* standard, small and tired-looking. Mouldy fruit welcomed us and stayed there throughout the stay covered in cellophane. It was just a shabby-looking room which needed some TLC and a renovated shower. Certainly not Sheraton standard. Beach/Grounds The grounds are ok but other than the pool ( clean and looked-after ) with a very small waterslide, there is really nothing for children. The mini-golf was overgrown with grass and that's it for kids. Children did enterain themselves on the beach ( more about that below ) chasing crabs but the constant harrassment of beach sellers became too much at times. Although this is a 'private beach', I was told by the hotel manager that this is false advertising as no beach in Lombok is private and thus beach vendors can go wherever they want on the beach. The security guard does very little other than chat to them all day. They really were a nuisance and got quite aggressive if ignored or told politely 'not today' or similar. One morning, one vendor followed me from one side of the beach to the other and I ended up giving him cash just to leave me alone. Another tactic was to make things that my two kids has 'asked for' and then telling me I had to pay. As soon as you step foot on the beach, you are approached. I do understand the difficult circumstances following Covid, but no one should be subjected to constant harrassment in a bit to buy, especially paying holiday-makers. Due to the time of the year, the beach was covered in rubbish and litter sweeping in from local streams. It looked nothing like the advertised photos and was a huge disappointment. Every minute of the day nappies were washing up, plastic bottles, paint tins and other things that could cut feet if trodden on. It was really the worst beach I have ever swam in. I compained as litter covered the beach and was a potential hazard to the children playing, so the manager organised teams of workers to start clearing at 5am. I once saw a skipful of rubbish just from the morning collection. By 10am however, another line of rubbish had appeared. I think Lombok is still gathering pace following Covid which seems to have hit very hard; this was certainly evident in the constant and incessant bombardment of sellers on the 'private' beach which, for me, ruined the holiday as well as the sheer amount of rubbish littering the beach. I have never seen anything like it. The best part was the turtle release ( paid of course) The hotel has a small hatchery of baby sea turtles from eggs collected from the beach and once ready, you can pay to release them. This was a lot of fun. The bigger they are, the more chance of survival these guys have once released. …

Our team was delighted to welcome you and your children, and was more than happy to facilitate several entertaining activities for the children, including the coloring and cooking classes that they seemed to have enjoyed, as well as other activities we arranged, such as dance class, beach soccer, table tennis and movie night. Meanwhile, for you, we arranged an afternoon tea. I personally arranged those activities and checked on your stay throughout your time with us. We appreciate your feedback about the beach, and would like to clarify that it's not a private beach as I explained it to you frequently during your stay. Our team did their best to maintain the cleanliness of the beach by cleaning up regularly, which you observed. Whilst it could be difficult as the changing currents could draw rubbish onto the shore, our team worked tirelessly to ensure the beach can be enjoyed by our guests. We even conducted multiple beach cleanups in a day. Unfortunately, we're not able to control the weather, but we apologize that it ruined your holiday. Whilst we understand your comments about the security guards, they are, in fact, prohibited from stopping them from approaching beach goers. However, they did try to encourage the sellers to moving onto the next post guard under the tree. As for star-rating and all, you're probably right. Perhaps, review can be done prior to booking the hotel, including the room size. On the other hand, it’s great to hear that you particularly enjoyed our social responsibility efforts in releasing the rescued baby turtles. I must clarify that this is not a paid activity or effort. Guests are welcome to make donations if they wish. However, we continuously conduct the rescue/release activity, regardless. We had booked this hotel on the bases that it was 5 star and a Sheraton. On arrival the outside was shabby and slabs full of weeds. When we went inside the hotel was clean but the reception did not match the pictures. When we checked in there was an issue that they did not know we were all inclusive but was quickly sorted out by the staff. The staff were at this point lovely. We were taken to our room miles away and there is no lift. When we opened the door the room was sour. The room was certainly not 5 star accommodation. We went back and said we were not staying there and was shown another room which smelled worse. When I said this wasn't 5 star the staff member advised me everyone has a different idea of 5 star which is fair enough. We went to look at the eating area, pool and pool loungers and decided this was not somewhere we wanted to stay. The staff member advised us did I not know this hotel had had no work on it since it opened and that was its character. We requested our money back and was told speak to the agent who booked it. To date we have received no refund. I must sadly say this hotel is 3 star. And I accept we did not stay and try the food as I was very upset and disappointed that the holiday of a lifetime had been upset. We went back to reception and said we were not staying and then we ordered our own taxi and carried out bags out and booked another hotel at our expense. I have photos which I chose not to share as I will give the hotel a chance to respond. If feel the images shared on this hotel do not match the reality. again this is my personal experience. We had just moved for the Intercontinental in Bali which was also 5 star and this was my comparison. …

We have stay with my wife 5 nights in the Sheraton … first impression is that the hotel needs to be refurnish and we were a bit disappointed … but what made our stay unforgettable is the location of the hotel situated in a nice beach has great garden but above is the friendly personal and there efforts to assist and make your stay pleasant !! The hotel has a great spa with reasonable prices . Restaurants are good also the wi-fi coverage is great even on the beach . For sure I would recommend the hotel.

I am a Titanium member with Bonvoy, which means I stay at a lot of Marriott Hotels At this Hotel, I was upgraded to a 1 Bedroom Suite, which happens all the time, with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Not the most modern room but very large and more than adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds are lush and well looked after. Wonderful pool area and good access to the private beach. The breakfast had lots of choice as well as fantastic service. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a romantic dinner on the beach. The service was exceptional, and the food was excellent, except for the steak (I brought this to the attention of the chef) I found the service to be excellent, everyone referred to me by name and without exception every member of the staff had a smile on their face and a warm greeting. I didn't stay at the hotel though but I came as a guest for breakfast. For me, IDR 200.000 (approx. USD 12) is a reasonable price to enjoy wonderful breakfast options served here, Kebun Anggrek Restaurant. Enjoying the hotel's pool was also included in the price which was great. Rahman moved around, recommending the creation: bread filled with lettuce and shredded chicken or tempe (fermented soy bean). I took the tempe one as it was new for me. It tasted good, surprisingly! Great atmosphere, no complaints, everything was absolutely delicious but discussions with Ayu and Ayu Darma related to some dishes were done. They were happy to receive my suggestion and also expressed their opinions toward it. It was a good conversation with some of their amazing staff! Move to the pool, it was relaxing. I personally liked the pool chair. Apparently for minimum spend IDR 150.000 (approx. USD 9), one can also enjoy the pool. Well what a relaxing time we’ve had, so nice and friendly staff. Ayu Darma a member of staff was so friendly and helpful, she was an added bonus to our stay here. Have to say to anyone who might want to criticise hotels getting back on their feet since COVID, places suffered for sure but this welcoming by all at the hotel, will make you want to return time after time. I have some amazing photos and have experienced some very refreshing rainstorms, but they are so welcome. Visit, come and enjoy and taste the high standard of food served here. Hotel is nothing special and is slightly run down. Gardens are very nice and spa (massage) was the best we had on our trip to Indonesia. Breakfast buffet was good, but food somewhat cold. Great cappuccino at breakfast. Not much to do around the hotel, many shops closed.
