Wonderful country home accommodation, located just outside Mitchelstown co.cork. Hosts Pat and Miriam couldn't have been more hospitable. Spacious and quiet rooms, delicious breakfast with wild boar sausages and great experience in wine tasting from their own vineyard in Hungary. 2003 cabernet franc as one of my favourites. Definitely worth calling by!

I spent 6 nights during a business trip in this peaceful location and I loved every minute of it. Breakfast was fantastic - both food and conversation. I would return there with my entire family when I’ll have the chance.

Ballinwillin House is situated on an estate at the end of a quiet suburban road, with secure access. We stayed in the Courtyard building adjacent the main house which has a number of nicely decorated rooms, together with a residents lounge and kitchen. It would definitely also suit small groups and those who want to self-cater for their evening meals....

This is no ordinary B&B, this a is a unique opportunity to experience one pleasurable surprise after another. There's a great buzz about the place and good grub to go with it. Others have complimented the hosts on the excellence and comfort of the bedrooms/bathrooms. I endorse their remarks. But it's in the farm house kitchen where you'll see how...

We are from Dublin and were in Cork for a Classic Toyota event in Fermoy. The family at Ballinwillin House were absolutely lovely hosts. We weren't too familiar with the area and they helped us find out information about local activities that we were looking into. They made us feel comfortable around them while still allowing us our privacy as...

This B&B was amazing! Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, very friendly family and a perfect middle location between Kilkenny and Cork. We really enjoyed looking at the red deer and enjoying a night in a small town. You won't be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ballinwillin house. My family and I stayed on the 30th May. Miriam was an excellent host and made a huge effort to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the main house which was immaculate and the homemade food was excellent. The bedrooms were spacious and luxurious and each had a new ensuite. Would...

We stayed here during a family history trip. This is the first time that we have actually stayed in Mitchelstown as usually we pass through. Miriam was just the best ever host - so warm, friendly and helpful. Miriam offered a cup of tea and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was delicious with the best fruit bowl and a tremendous cooked...
