Hosts, including an affectionate dog, are tremendously hospitable and helpful. All in all the multiple attributes attract most interesting guests. Elegant bathroom and excellent breakfast foods with impeccable service.

Friends and I went for a wine tasting to Chapel Down Vineyard with lunch. Not much accommodation in the area but the Sissinghurst B&B was recommended. And old country house in good repair, hidden off the country road (follow sign to Sissinghurst Castle) with clean rooms. Great country style lounge where we stayed on Saturday night playing quizzes and games...

From the moment you pull up to the Farmhouse (it's more a Homestead than a Farmhouse really) you know you're in for a treat. A beautifully furnished, beautifully laid out original building. All the country charm with added comfort. Sue is lovely and a great hostess. If you are after picturesque and peaceful then this is it. Cannot wait to...

I especially picked this place because of it is so close to Sissinghurst Garden - next door! As a keen gardener and intrigued with the Sackville West/Nicholson story it was a must. We had the room overlooking the tower and it was perfect. Sue was very hospitable and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. It has good...

Susan went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. Greeted with tea and homemade cakes in the charming sitting room. The bedrooms, common areas and gardens are all warm and inviting. Great breakfasts. Good walking, restaurants and pubs in the area. One room is very easy for disabled or elderly, with elevator access and walkin shower with railings.

We arrived early, and although quite prepared to return at the right time, we were ushered in by Sophia and warmly welcomed. We were then shown to the delightful Sissinghurst room, an upgrade to what we had arranged, and were delighted. Off to the gardens and then a return to the Farmhouse for a delightful afternoon tea, in the charming...

We made a point of booking the farmhouse as a treat whilst visiting several gardens in the area including the wonderful Sissinghurst of course. Booking was easy online and we had a personal acknowledgment very promptly. The farmhouse is a sympathetically restored building with an attractive mix of antique and classic furnishings. Our bedroom had a large comfortable bed, modern...

We happened to visit on a gorgeous summer day- blue skies with whit fluffy clouds. Perfect temperature. The gardens are well maintained- formal and natural. They have a large vegetable garden where the produce is used in the cafe and there is a B&B there also. The history behind the gardens is interesting.
