Thank you to all the staff at the Exeter Arms for helping to make my dad and brothers birthday meal special. We all had a fantastic lunch and couldn't fault any part of the meal or service. Will definitely be returning.

Have visited The Exeter Arms on previous occasions. The pub was quiet for a Friday lunchtime surprisingly. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Both my stater and main course were good. Although my wife main course was not of the standard she had enjoyed on her last visit which was obviously a disappointment. The staff were concerned and made an...

Visited here several times in the last few months and I have to say the food is always excellent, clean, fresh, tasty and very well presented. The menu has a wide choice which includes local produce. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere with a relaxed ambience and helpful staff. Good beers and wine menu too. Whether you're passing during...

The roast beef was pink, tender and tasty. Huge Yorkshire pudding. Perfect roast potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. This was by far, the best roast beef that I have for years in a restaurant/pub. Sticky toffeee pudding and apple creme brûlée were also yummy. I had a very good Malbec red wine, which was the correct temperature. Staff were extremely...

Greeted well on arrival only given sandwich menu, asked if they offered fish and chips and was told they were on the other menu. We ordered two fish and chips but the rest of party would have liked to have been given all menus available. Service was lacking, no sauces offered, had to ask at bar for coffee and when...

A small group of us ate here on Christmas Eve, and then a larger group on New Year's Eve. On the first visit, we chose from the menu, and everyone was very pleased with their choices - including our vegetarian friend. On New Year's Eve there was a buffet, with the chef carving beef and ham to order. There was...

We stayed in the deluxe room where the well is and up the cast iron stairs, it was very spacious and comfortable. On the first night we stayed here for food and did not regret it. The Monkfish was great and the chocolate fondant was the best I have ever had. Location to Stamford is near enough only 5 minutes...

Set in a lovely old building the restaurant serves up a cracking Sunday lunch and much more besides. If you're looking for a country pub for a well cooked Sunday roast you could do a lot worse! We had our five month old with us and the staff were super friendly and accommodating and nothing was any bother for them....

This genuine old village pub is a few miles out of Stamford at Easton on the Hill. Considerably cheaper than hotels in Stamford & a convenient overnight stop if travelling in this area. The menu is interesting with good local ingredients although not particularly extensive or innovative. The wine list is also quite varied & sensibly priced & the local...
