I Stayed here for a week, and found it to be perfectly acceptable for the price. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean enough- they're old but hygenic. The staff in the restaraunt don't speak the best english , i think most people find the language barrier the main problem, and if a thai doesn;t understand you they tend... More

We stayed here for the same reason that everybody else does: when you treck through the jungle to the beach that's cheaper to stay on in the heat, this is the first place you come to. The room was dark and dingy and the floor needed a good clean. We were asked to pay on check-in, which always makes me... More

Absolutely disgusting little dungeon of a joint. Smells like sewer- you need to run the water for 15 minutes to get water pressure (the water is brown and smells of sewer- i choose not to shower!). Mold on the walls, dark rooms, no windows. Poor customer service at restaurant- we ordered a meal- they brought the wrong one and then... More

I would strongly advise not to stay here. We arrived mid morning from krabi and the boat dropped us right outside the hotel. Because we were being lazy and it had been recommended we decided to head straight to YaYa. On arrival we were given a very frosty greeting. We were then shown 2 rooms - the 1st on the... More

Ya Ya operates a number of wooden two-story bungalows. We stayed on the second floor. The room was small, which is ok, and dirty (not okay). Blankets and towels were stained too. Staff was not exactly friendly. You will definitely find better value in Railay.

We arrived in Railey having booked no accommodations. We had no sense of direction and after asking on Railey West about some of the prices, and decided to head across the the east side in hopes of a place a little cheaper. The first place we found was YaYa. I like what a previous review said: NoNo. It was late... More

I didn't actually stay here, but they treated me horribly. They showed me the room...seemed ok at first glance, definitely budget but ok. When I went back there it took only a minute closer look to realize that it was simply uninhabitable. Sewerage smells, everything was dirty including the bed linen (only an undersheet - a real sheet cost 600... More

Fanned room was the size of a prison cell. Overpriced, poor service, horrible beach, rude smells, stay away!

Hello. I just had to send a comment after getting so appalling service day after another that we were really out of patience. We visited Railay Beach and stayed at Ya Ya resort. Especially the attitude in the restaurant staff and manager was amazingly rude. It was peak season, so I guess they didnt care one bit about customer satisfaction... More

If you are looking for a palce to stay in Railay, don't even think about staying at the Ya Ya resort. Our stay there was horrendous! The place is completely over priced and a complete health hazard. They've got the back of the kitchen ontop of 16 of there guest rooms. The smell was atrocious and they are not all... More

“If you have mobility issues, request a room on the ground floor. We were on the first floor, and there were also some steep and narrow stairs to negotiate. No problem for us, but an observation all the same.”
