Unsure why this place has so many negative reviews- we had a great stay. Initially booked for 4 nights and ended up staying for a week. Good location, 5-10 minute walk to all of the beaches. Friendly staff who were attentive and helped us with...More

An horrible place, run down, smelly, rooms with no windows, the stuff are friendly and useful, but the place itself is in very low condition. We made a mistake and had no choice but to stay there for 3 nights, and we couldn't wait to...More
The room was clean, although the bathroom had some mold in it and you could see it's pretty old, but we're backpackers so we didn't mind.
The problem was that on our 4th day when we came to pay at noon (at check-in we said...More
Very unsure what all the negative reviews are about on here. Admittedly the rooms are relatively basic but Railey has so much to offer, we were hardly in our room. For £11 a night, I don't think you can fault this place at all. The...More

That isn't at all surprising - the resort doesn't put much emphasis at all on guest relations. You will almost certainly be able to find a taxi to take you to the Ao Nammao pier (I'm almost certain this is the correct pier) from the airport. If you want to go even cheaper, take a 'SongTaeow' converted pickup truck. Once you land on Railay, you will need to walk to the hotel, but it isn't far - just turn right down the beach, and follow the path pretty much until the end.
Don't expect too much from this place.
