As much a B&B as a hotel, the facility is in a small chateau hidden behind a residential community. GPS a must to find it. Nice, comfortable room, free Wifi and a nice view of the gardens. A good place to stay en route. Fair breakfast.

Large comfortable bed in a large room (Chambre Chablis) with balcony overlooking the garden and countryside. Good en suite facilities including a refreshing shower. Tasty continental breakfast including delicious home-made pear jam. Our booking acceptance mentioned that dinner was available if booked 24 hours in advance but it was unavailable on the evening we arrived as the owner was going...

What a thoroughly nice B&B. We stayed with our dog and were made more than welcome and there are good walks nearby. Our room was large and lovely with good views and the bathroom had everything one could need. Breakfast was delicious with very good home made jams. Highly recommended.

We booked a room at this chateau. When we arrived we were told that they had cancelled our booking THAT MORNING! We were stranded and they didn't care! Be warned! Ruthless and callous owners! We wonder if they had got a better price from guests via another booking website! We had paid extra toll road charges to stay at this...

Your booking was made in 2014 and due to a change of the planning system was not kept in the new version. Sorry about that. I phoned Booking;Com the morning and they said they will contact you and find another place to stay before phoning you. It seems they did not do it and I did not know. When you...

We stayed for bed and breakfast in this beautiful château. The grounds are lovely, the room incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. Our ensuite bathroom was bigger than our bedroom at home! The château is just a short drive from Auxerre where we had a delicious traditional French meal. The lovely owner helpfully gave us a list of local recommended restaurants.

We stayed there for 2 nights at the end of May 2013. Temperatures were at a record low for the season, but that was not a problem as there were space heaters in the bedroom and the bathroom. The host was accommodating and helpful, the room was very nice, as you can tell from the pictures. On the second evening...

This was our opportunity to stay in a real French chateau, and we were not disappointed. It's in the Bordeau countryside near Chablis, and is quite small and quaint compared to most French chateaux. It was built just over 100 years ago by a local family as their country retreat. Located in beautiful French countryside near rivers and lakes with...

We were returning to Paris after two weeks meandering up the Rhone valley filling the rented Zafira up with case after case of great vino. We'd spent a long day in Chablis and didn't feel like driving home...and prolonging our bushwhacking seemed like a good idea. The area is beautiful - tons of lakes, ponds and stream - part of...

<<In the week end of the 13th and 14th of February 2010 we had the great pleasure of staying at the Château Le Barreau (http://chateau-le-barreau.com) in Burgundy. We had heard about the place from a couple of friends in Paris that knew the landlords well; and this was a good reference. Easy to find near the city of Auxerre, a...

“The suite with the canopy bed is magnificent. We stayed in the "standard double room", which was also very nice. There are only three rooms in the mansion, and they are all separated by little hallways, so it is extremely quiet!”
