My wife and I tried to have lunch here yesterday, I say tried because it never happened. There were several tables empty but were dirty and stacked full of previous meals. We sat down for 20 minutes and no one came over, I went to the bar where there was only one bar staff so we left. On my way...

Have stayed at Dunston Hall twice now and would recommend it. The management are excellent as are many of the staff. The pool area is well served and relaxing. The food is good, although sometimes garlic is not really necessary and should be stated on the menu as its not to everyone's taste. The Restruant service was excellent, thanks to...

I was very pleased to been been brought the gift of afternoon tea for two at the lovely Dunston Hall hotel. But how disappointing the experience was. When we arrived we got the feeling our reservation wasn't recorded but we were quickly shown to a seat. The staff were very pleasant but didn't explain what we would be getting or...

This hotel is very much trading on photos of the country house which forms the centrepiece of the property. Unfortunately the rest of the experience is very average. It seems the property is somewhere you go to play golf or for a wedding reception but, that aside, the experience is pretty cold and soulless. The rooms have not been refurbished...

Stayed overnight for a two day business event held at the hotel. A beautiful old house converted to a hotel set in lovely grounds with a handy golf course attached if golf is your game. Although not visited the hotel has it's own pool and gym facilities. The staff are some of the most helpful I have encountered in any...

In a property of this size and age, there will always be little things that might irritate, such as our noisy bathroom fan (room 402), continuing for some 20 minutes, or occasional service delays, but that should not stop you appreciating this huge investment by DeVere Hotels. The chefs certainly know what they are doing. I sampled a wonderful and...

Lovely quiet location just outside Norwich. Rooms large and comfortable. Ate from the carvery menu on the first evening and from the a-la-carte on the second.
