In January we had a chance to spend some time at this place. As we were there for a while, we have enough time to feel everything well. The owner - Gili is the greatest men ever - hi is so kind, positive and helpful guy, just want to meet more people like him. Thanks him for everything, I'm so...

We had great fun at shkedi. The service was outstanding and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. At the evening we light a fire and ordered centering from the village. There is a well equipped kitchen with all the accessories. Highly recommended.

What a great hostel! It's located not far from the Dead Sea, in a small village, just next to the Negev desert. If you want to experience this, you can start walking right from the lodge. They have campfires, a great bar, very welcoming staff which will give you all advice you may need. Better go there in the winter,...

We stayed for 2 nights in October. Gil (owner) was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but comfortable and the setting is lovely. If you'd rather be outside in the desert than in one of the bland, impersonal hotels at Neve Zohar or Ein Bokek, choose Shkedi's.

Great place and great owner. You will have a choice between the lodges (wood huts) and heavy duty tents all equipped with AC or heating (winter). You will have access to a very well equipped kitchen where you'll cook yourself a great dinner or breakfast. The makolet (little super market) is not far from the camp and you will find...

It is a simple, but lovely place. It offers all you need from a camp-lodge with a large communal area, kitchen, bar and hammocks. Gili, the owner, makes the place special with his hospitality and friendliness. We stayed in an old, converted bus and loved it. Don't go there if you want a squeaky clean 5* hotel room and spa...

We stayed at the honeymoon bus which was very cool , good atmosphere and very cosy. Gili the owner very helpful and makes you feel at home from the first moment. All facilities nice and clean, good for families too like us. Relax and layback spot between the Dead Sea to the Arava valley and not far at all from...

Spent 2 nights here in March with the purpose of visiting the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi. Stayed in a shared bathroom cabin; it was lovely and very clean. Beds were alright. The shared bathrooms worked well and were clean. There is a shared kitchen where you can cook - no food is served at the place or nearby. There...

Thus is the perfect down to earth experience. Great facilities, beautiful place and a very friendly staff. This is a great place to go during the fall, winter and early spring. Ask Shkedi about excursions in the area, he's an expert. Bring mosquito repellant because they come to visit in the evening.

Thank Yoav P
