My mountain biking group stayed here one night while biking through the Arava. Skedi, who owns the inn, has established an exceptionally friendly and laid-back inn composed of large tented sleeping cabins with dormitory style sleeping accommodations on foam mattresses (bring your own sleeping bag). There are also smaller cabins for couples or larger groups, as well as a bus...

Cosy, warm, great atmosphere. No bunks in the dormitory but comfortable matrasses, always good music in the bar but never too loud, friendly owner. big kitchen with everything you need, bar with everything you need :) It's better if you have a (rent) car because it's a bit far from the Dead Sea and there's not a lot to see...

I stayed at this place for 3 nights. it feels like an oasis in the desert. If you are about to visist the dead sea and you don't want to stay in a hotel; this is the place to be. A great place to use as a base for exploring the region. The whole place feels so relaxed and the staff...

Beside the beaten track a cosy place which invites for hangout. There is allegedly more things to do than you would expect. The rooms are not tents but actual fixed Bungalows with air conditioner. Nice staff and 42 :)

The cabins and the hats are all air conditioned, lavatories and showers are always clean, kitchen is well equipped. The staff are very responsive and kind, speak good English and German (one of them...

There is a tree with about 8 hammocks around it. We spent a lot of time relaxing there, just enjoying the beauty of the desert. The cabin was really cozy, and we all slept like rocks. The owner is really helpful and everything is clean and comfy. Definitely recommend, especially if you want a funky and unique place to stay.

I spent an amazing time at Shekdi's Camplodge. You feel welcome from the first second. I met a lot of nice people and enjoyed the beautiful village. Make sure you go for a walk in the sandy hills right next to the village. It's so beautiful!

If you don't keep your eyes peeled for the wooden sign, you could almost miss meeting Ron, the extremely friendly man behind this laid-back campground, 35 minutes from Masada and The Dead Sea. Skip the big, overpriced hotels---really, who needs a bathrobe for the beach? Opt for the kittens, barbecue and full kitchen complete with a shelf pre-labeled for your...
