we were thrilled to be spendiing our time in bali bali resort as it was a semi-private resort. we were impressed that one of their staff went to us at the waiting area/port while waiting because we thought once we arrived at the port, we will be transported directly to bali bali. maybe they could inform their clients about the...

Getting away from the city of Davao to Samal Island was a good choice! This resort had all the ingredients we wanted for the day.. a quiet cozy place to relax and bond with friends, delicious food, fresh air, swimming. The beach area was not good for swimming though. Their staff were warm, friendly and welcoming!

Great hotel if you're looking for a nice getaway on a remote island. It's a bit pricey but it's a beautiful resort with a semi private beach. Rooms are clean, food is good and staff was helpful. They didn't seem to have/offer many activities but they do offer up the boat for rent (would recommend arranging a tour for a...

Quite pricey compared to the other resorts but privacy guaranteed. Beachfront is clean and not so "stoney and rocky". Best to swim early morning during high tide. Heated Pool is great and relaxing. Rooms are clean and spacious. Room towels and beach towels provided. Food is great. Staff very accommodating and anticipatory. Game area with pool table, table tennis, etc....

My sister from Manila came to Davao for a business meeting and wanted to unwind on a beach. We met up at the Bali Bali Beach Resort, she by speed boat, we by car on a 15 minute ferry from the Sasa Pier in Davao City to the Samal Island. This was a first time for both of us on...

Nice serene place to unwind and simply forget your busy life in the city. The staff are helpful & attentive. What I don't like is the food choices -- it's still limited and we don't have other options because there are no stores nearby. The villas are cheaper in price vs the hotel accom (new building). We got a room...

I already came in this place twice. First in 2009 then now 2016 and it is still amazing. It is 30 mins away from davao city. and a 15 min. boat ride from davao beach club. They have a pool, private boat, the villas are ok and their bathrooms are nature-centered in architecture. for only P1,500 per person for a...

The place is awesome especially for those couples who goes for a honeymoon. The staffs ensures that the pool and surroundings is always clean and quiet. Definitely a very good place for relaxation away from the busy urban life. One thing though is that their food is a little pricey, given that their menu is quite usual with limited options....

The value-for-money is very low, which means that the experience was not worth the 1, 200 per person for day tour. "NO COTTAGE" We were assigned a massage gazebo. A sorry substitute for the villa we were told we can use. Day tour guests are left to make-do of any available corner. (It was the housekeeping personnel who advised the...
