This place is awesome. The ambiance is very relaxing. Everything is well-prepared. The security guard is active 24/7, the receptionist are very friendy. All the employees there are very nice people. Anything you can suggest is they can help you. You don't have to worry about cooking because all you have to do is to give them the recipe and...

Booked a room here with my hubby. Enjoyed their amenities. Great staff. Great food. Nice place. If you want some quiet time, this is a perfect place for you to stay. The only downside for me in this place is the beach. But they can take you to Vanishing Island though. At that time we paid a fee for that....

This hotel has a very beautiful garden, hence the name. It takes them tremendous work to keep it tidy. It is unbelievable that so many guests don't respect this and throw their garbage around. Food is ok. Staff is sometimes a bit chaotic and you have to wait. Everything really needs maintenance and repair. It is obvious that they are...

We didn't have a reservation but we were lucky enough to get rooms at the ground floor for our old folks and young kids. There were tables set up outside each room so we had a cozy dinner despite the heavy rain. The garden is ample and forest like. The air conditioners were well functioning. There is no intercom yet...

Accessibility: 10 to 15 mins tricycle ride from the port The whole resort is quiet, clean and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious and have its own veranda. We had a standard twin bed. Staff are friendly and attentive especially Junie. He is gracious enough to allow us for early check in and attends to our needs quickly. If you really want...

We booked a Family room and supposedly Honeymoon suite for our family stay. The family room was spacious with hot and cold water and a sink for washing, the bed mattresses were exceptionally thin which resulted in uncomfortable sleeping. The Honeymoon Suite was comfortable but lacked hot running water which resulted in not having a decent shower for the duration...

Precious is a fantastic resort to stay at in Samal Island. Close to the boat to head to Davao and a nice peaceful beach to utilise. The eating area is great too with a good menu and quick service. The rooms are great too although the water in both rooms I have stayed at didn't work properly. The tap only...

When we arrived at the resort I felt very welcomed. Their staffs were approachable. They accompanied us to our room and the moment we saw our room I was overwhelm by its size, beauty and cleanliness. The room was very big, the bed looks good and comfy and the most important thing for me is the bathroom. The bathroom was...

Find comfort in the south through Precious Garden's folksy and debonaire rooms. You will be embraced by the inviting ambiance and your eyes will be delighted with both simple and intricate designs making you feel like you never left home! We had no prior reservations when we stopped by Samal so we had to survey between three inns around the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Precious Garden Restaurant and coffee house offers a warm welcome to all visitors. Sit out under the stars and enjoy the open air ambiance and leafy shade of mature tropical tress when enjoying our food. We are locally famous for our wood-fired oven pizzas and homemade pasta as well as other European and Filipino favorite dishes. We serve bio dynamic rice or fresh baked bread as options with all our dishes. We are confident that our brewed coffee and homemade cookies are the best on the island of samal. Our little fine hotel is located 10 minutes from the ferry landing in Babak / Samal Island. The tropical garden restaurant is a nice start in the morning and the white beach good for sundower. We offer many trips, also free shuttle servive to an islet named Sanipaan (Vanishing Island). Diving trips, snorkeling tours, inland tours (Bat Bave, Hagimit Falls, etc.). ... more   less

“if you want a private balcony ask for a room in the second floor if you are going to the vanishing island tour go during the afternoon(low tide) so you will see the island. If you are up for an adventure try to go downtown ask to call a tricycle for you (10.00 per head) to see their Rural life style and buy some street food fried chicken”
