Alor Island is a world class dive spot in Indonesia. Alor Divers Eco Resort, where diving is passion, is home to an extraordinary marine life. Our intimate resort is situated on a 400 m long sandy beach with a stunning housereef, on Pantar Island. To preserve the authentic atmosphere of the place, we took special care while integrating the resort in its natural surrounding. To enhance friendly ambiance, personalized service and quietness, the number of guests is limited to 16. Local staff from nearby villages and Western management make up the hospitable working team, committed to ensure a memorable stay in our island retreat. We take pride of our various and healthy cuisine offer. The climate of Alor is particularly pleasant: the months from early April to late October are fairly dry and nights are often surprisingly cold, therefore acclimatization is less harsh than one might imagine. Moreover, due to the lack of standing fresh water, mosquitoes are fairly rare for most of the year.

I stayed at Alor Divers resort 5 nights in May 21. We were the only customers as travel restrictions are still preventing foreigners to reach this dive paradise. It was a fantastic stay, I have enjoyed every minute and I am really looking forward to going back. The diving is exceptional, Alor has its own treasures, and this is some of the best diving I've seen. Certainly on par with Raja Ampat and Komodo. The operation is well organized, with several boats available and countless sites to chose from. The guides are excellent. There is plenty of current, especially around full moon and that make for very engaging dives. Sea life is very abundant; we've seen fishes there that are very rare, even in Indonesia like Rhinopias. The resort is stretched along the beach under the trees, completely invisible from the sea. It is remote, the nearest villages are quite a walk away. There is no shopping, bars or restaurant nearby. You can really enjoy the peace and quiet. The bungalows are quiet, comfortable, with a terrace and stretchers. 4G is available for those who can't live without it. I have to mention the delicious food: plenty of fish and regular vegetarian meals served in the open air restaurant. The staff is adorable and Fred the co-owner and resort manager is a remarkable host and very knowledgeable on Indonesia and diving. I almost forgot, the house reef is a really good dive. I cannot think of anything that has disappointed me during this stay at Alor Divers, on the contrary, I was very impressed. This resort is very well run with a mindset to respect and sustainability. I felt very comfortable there. I highly recommend Alor Divers.

If you are looking for a place where you can actually relax while you also enjoy world-class diving, you found it! Alor Divers has an excellent location and a very well-though-out resort that perfectly fits into Alor's beautiful nature. Comfortable and spacious bungalows, exceptionally delicious (and healthy) food and superfriendly, helpful and lovely staff! Diving is amazing, reefs are healthy and full of life, you can see pretty much everything from the tiniest critters to the big stuff. We were in very very good hands with Rob and Dena and their great and helpful staff. The 450 meter long white sandy beach on which the resort is located was a perfect place to recharge between the amazing dives. We are fortunate enough to having visited many of the top dive spots in the coral triangle and Alor (and Alor Divers ) definitely stands out as one of the best.

We had the chance to visit Alor Divers during the Covid-19 crisis and it was the perfect gateway from all the madness outside. Rob and Dena did everything to make us feel safe and happy. We had a very clean bungalow on the beach where everything is well thought to be eco-friendly. No AC but the fan was enough as the nights are quite cool. The bed is wide and the mattress was excellent. Tea and coffee are at disposal on the balcony where we could relax using the long chairs. The food is delicious and healthy with only local-supplied or homemade products. The boat and the equipment are well maintained. We were only 4 divers with 2 guides so diving was very relax and enjoyable. Diving is great with a mix of wide angle and macro. The reefs are healthy and full of life. We did not see the hammerheads but we had a glimpse of mola-mola and a lot of dolphin sightings. Thank you Dena, Rob, Rio and all Alor Divers team for the wonderful time!
