A wonderful weekend spent learning mindfulness and how to find true happiness. The Ashram is a beautiful and peaceful place, I look forward to visiting again. The residents are so welcoming, the food was excellent and lodgings are all that you need for a comfortable stay. Note: there is no phone coverage, which is perfect for those who are happy...

I visited the Ashram with a group of friends on 31 July 2016, which was an Open Day. Our lovely guide gave us a short talk on the Ashram, its programs and retreats & then we all participated in a yoga class. Next came morning tea (a variety of teas but no coffee!) & very more-ish chocolate muffins, a guided...

Bliss, from the moment you walk through the gate there is a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. This time of year the gardens were beautiful, lots of trees in bloom and very green. Lots to do or you can just relax and do your own thing. Food is fresh from their own gardens and farm. Highly recommend to anyone that needs to...

I attended the Yoga Nidra Teacher training here at Mangrove Mountain and was absolutely delighted with the course and my stay. Our ensuite room was clean and neat. You need to bring your own bedding which is not a problem as we were advised of this when we booked. The vegetarian meals are so tasty and you feel healthier with...

This place is under a current Royal Commission Government review; and I just didn't feel any warmth of kindness - its all a bit 'business like' for me. While the gardens are lush and the dormitories simply, which is great for peace and quiet, the place has an eeriness I didn't feel comfortable with.

I have stayed here many times over the last 25 years. When I simply go for residential stay I treasure the 'down time' provided by freedom to take part or do nothing. The kind of yoga practised here is integral, with an emphasis on awareness in all activities not simply the asana/ stretches. The morning class and 5 pm session...

Whenever I get the chance love to visit the Mangrove Yoga Centre on the weekend. I'm vegetarian and love any opportunity to have organic vegetarian. My last Sunday lunch there was just delightful and love the setting. If you are into Yoga definitely worth the visit. Even managed to do a havan for Goddess Saraswati which was also really cool....
