Stayed in La Bageatiére with my family for one week. First of all the surroundings are very nice - "pittoresque et tranquille". Exterior and interior characterized by good taste French Style Decor. Thumbs up! My family has been in many places in France - but this was first experience with B&B accommodation type. Our host Fred achieved very well the...

The location of the accommodation was in a peaceful setting with an outstanding mountain back-drop. The rooms were generous in size and beautifully appointed and decorated. We were able to enjoy the pool, sundeck and stunning spacious grounds. As non French speaking visitors, our host Fred made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Fred's jovial, caring and kind nature made...

One year after my first visit to this wonderful place, I returned for another week at La Bageatiere. It was fantastic. Fred's dinners were better than every, the company was delightful, everything as enjoyable and relaxing and beautiful as I remembered. Highly recommended.

The setting is beautiful, the room (or apartment) great, with a cool attic for the kids. Breakfast was superb. Our host, Fred, really made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make kids feel at home. I can strongly recommend going.

Our group of 8 friends stayed at Le Bageatiere for a week in late September. A beautiful old farmhouse set in a sprawling garden, the three double bedrooms, plus family suite suited the three couples and 2 singles perfectly. The large rooms were all attractively appointed, and each had doors or balconies to the garden. Unfortunately, it was too cool...

From my first night at La Bageatière, it felt like home. The grounds are beautiful, the house charming, my room very comfortable and pretty, with a fabulous view. Fred makes sure everyone is introduced and really acts as the "host" (as in "chambres d'hôte" and "table d'hôte"), welcoming everyone to his home and his table. His dinners are outstanding: excellent...

We loved our stay at La Bageatiere and hope to come back! Our family and friends traveled to Lac Aiguebelette for my wedding in early June. We all stayed at La Bageatiere and we're all still dreaming about it. The grounds and house are so pretty that it feels like you're in a movie. The rooms are all unique and...

Absolutely delightful B&B in every sense of the word. This is one of those rare inns you only want to tell your friends about so it does not get booked up! But really, you should check out Frederique and Frederik's amazing inn above Lake d'Aiguebelette. You pass through the gate and your worries and stress fall away. Great care has...

This is a lovely BnB with loads of charater and a great garden space. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy and spacious. We had a hum coming from the walls all night the first 2 nights which the owners fixed by turning off the exhaust fans for the building. The breakfasts were nice but unfortunately we missed out on...

We stayed at La Bageatiere for one night on a road trip through france. The house is set back from the lake so has fantastic views but is still within a few minutes walk of the lake. The setting was beautiful and far less busy than the other main destinations in the area. The room was large and comfortable and...
