Traveling from Bogota the Eco lodge is located about 30min past the turn off to Puerto Triunfo and about 10min beyond Hacienda Napoles. For the reception drive beyond the large road side restaurant. The rooms are sparse, minimal furniture but certainly clean and comfortable. Given the warm humid weather we took a room with air-conditioning which I would highly recommend....

We were in the area for birding and were pleasantly surprised to find this lodge. we had an air conditioned room which was quite modern, spacious and very clean. The grounds are lovely and the restaurant food good. It is all quite basic but you are in the middle of nowhere so that is to be expected. The only small...

Good hotel, with accommodating staff who sorted out our tours (though no one spoke any English as the website had led us to believe). It was a bit quiet - we were often the only ones in the restaurant and there was never anyone serving at the bar in the evening. We were shown around 3 rooms before we finally...

The room was very comfortable, the only thing to complain is that we made a reservation for 4 people and there were only two towels and it was a big hustle to get the extra towels. Also in the pool we asked for pool towels and the gentleman said we should get the ones from our room and was not...

It's comfortable, the staff are extremely friendly and the food is excellent. Fortunately I have the opportunity to visit regularly through my work. I have also brought my family here and my children had great fun. Highly recommended!

My friend and I visited this small area near Rio Claro at the end of a 2-week long backpacking trip. We did not know about the holiday weekend that follows New Years in Colombia, and found it much more difficult/impossible to find accommodations without a reservation in this area. We were very fortunate to run into a Colombian couple who...

It was not my initial plan to stay at this hotel since the prices are high for what it is, but after dealing with the hotels associated to "hacienda Napoles", I should have selected it from the beginning. The hotel is the usual Colombian "campestre": very basic rooms (old TV, bad soap, small bathroom, etc.), nice weather, swimming pool surrounded...

Hi, I read the other reviews and am wondering if it's about the same place. It was OK but not a good value for the money (and we are not high maintenance travelers. we have traveled to over 50 countries, backpacked alot, stayed in all kinds of places from shacks to 5 star hotels.) We paid nearly $200 US dollars...
