Pleasing surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, excellent menu with a wide selection of dishes to cater for all tastes. Superb food cooked to perfection and well presented, definitely well above average and not over priced. We had a most enjoyable evening with family members celebrating my wife's retirement. Highly recommended and well worth a visit

What a lovely place, staff friendly and good service. deceiving from the front as plenty of room inside. Surprisingly busy for a Saturday lunch time so reputation locally must be good as its out in the sticks a bit. The Sea Bass was excellently done.

This inn may be a bit out of the way but well worth the effort to pay it a visit. The Sunday carvery was delicious - roast pork, roast beef, ham, boiled and roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower and cheese, carrot/Swede mash. The dessert of sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. The wait staff is also very friendly....

We stayed here a couple if years ago just after it was renovated, it was great then and it still is. If anything the food in the restaurant is even better. Good menu with some interesting specials. The rooms were clean, warm and very comfortable. Breakfast really good and cooked perfectly. Well recommended.

Just had a birthday meal and could not fault the service or the food, attentive staff and the surroundings have improved dramatically from the old New Inn I have visited in the past. It was very reasonably priced and somewhere for a special meal or just a meal out.You wont be disappointed!

We came across the pub in a book my father had read and thought we would take a trip to have a look. Well what a delightful surprise. The location in a tiny village of West Knighton set around roaming fields. The food was out of this world and the service was excellent. We could highly recommend this pub if...

My family and I dined here at lunchtime, we were warmly greeted and seated. We had been told that a wedding was taking place and we would have to be seated in the bar area, which was perfectly acceptable and the waiting staff were very attentive. The food was incredible, fresh and well presented - I had the sea bass...

We booked this Inn for our six day stay in Dorset, mainly because it was fairly central for touring Dorset. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean with the only down side being the bathroom was too small for our preference. The three big selling points of this inn are,The location, after a busy day in Weymouth, Bournemouth or...

We were very pleased with our stay in the Coach House Room. Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights, all of which we slept well. Everything was clean and tidy and professional and all staff were friendly and helpful. It felt private and peaceful mostly because it is quite remote- take the sat nav!! Despite this it is in...

“The family room - Knighton View was lovely but didn't have much of a view from the room but a big room with all the space you need for you and the kids. To get the view you only had to go outside onto the balcony. There are other rooms with amazing views of the countryside - so it depends on your needs/choice. I think there are 8 rooms in total to choose from.”
