Stayed for two days at their homestay which was not the hotel type but staff quarters converted into tourist accommodation. I feel overall it is worth the stay as we enjoyed what Megamalai offered. More of nature and unspoilt air. We visited the tea gardens which is like a Munnar experience, and also the lake & the dams but the...

We planned to stay for 2 days. But the treatment made us to restrict to 1 day. there was no power after 11 p.m. The staff attitude was unfriendly and no proper care was taken. Avoid this place. It is on the road next to Megamalai Resort

Stayed two days and one night with family in Megamalai. Just a rest and recoup trip with no hustle bustle. It was all pleasant but our kids were restless as it was raining mostly with no outdoor activity possible. The homestay had no indoor activity also, no TV and no mobile signal. Just complete rest with no contact with civilization....

Changed our plan from 2 days stay to only 1 after seeing the estate’s condition! Below average than a basic home stay. So called bungalow is big but poorly maintained with damp walls, no furniture, unhygienic toilets without hot water facility. Tariff on higher side.

Nice location. No electricity (generator runs for few hours). Bad toilet. Average food. Just about OK for a bachelors group for a very short stay. Tariff too high for this kind of a property. No roads laid in meghamalai for years which makes the drives pathetic and the home stay does not provide the much needed comfort after the difficult...

It was a one night & two days stay at the Raja Anduvan homestay with a few friends and it was a totally different holiday with no disturbance and peaceful surroundings. Went around the tea gardens and the lake and admired the views. We liked the solitude so much that we did not feel like venturing out again for the...

Location is good. Rooms are okay.Food is homely, courteous staff, perfect place to relax. Nature lovers & wildlife enthusiast will love this place. Ideal time to visit this place is September-January. The road conditions though are very bad.

Our trip to Meghamalai was in planning stage for at least 2 years since all our fiends usually pick one place to visit during our year-end leave. In 2013 we decided to visit Meghamalai and our enquiries started from September 2013. We understood that we don't have much of hotels/ resorts in Meghamalai and upon searching in "Google" we got...

Our trip to Megamalai started with a booking on the net with Raja Andhuvan homestay. The place has very good views of the valley, fairly decent place to stay but a little before Megamalai. We were four wild life enthusiasts intent on seeing the best Megamalai Wildlife Sanctuary had to offer. We stayed for two nights and three days with...

Avoid at all costs!! Extremely dirty, expensive for the facilities, average food. Dirty and broken toilets and bathrooms, week old trash in room. Better option is book the tea bungalows, which are expensive, but cleaner. Or stay in Chinnamanur and drive up the hills. But the location is awesome!! great views, clean spring water, crystal clear mountain air makes up...
