Nice, family owned motel. The rooms have a really good tv. The place is quiet, with limited parking. There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the room. The motel is very close to a store, some pubs, and a few other things. I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here on a drive through from lands end to Suffolk and stopped of the walk cheddar gorge. We were extremely tired after a long day and the room we were shown to was just perfect to relax in private to. The owner (forgive me I've forgotten your name) was a lovely man and showed us round. The room itself... More

Stayed here for a four day break with motorbikes. All you could need including a hair dryer ( which i was thrilled as arriving on a motorbike not much space for luxuries) Clean towels and tea and biscuits ( which my son loved a different set of three every time we came home). Really friendly owners, absolutely stunning views around... More

Was a little disappointed with this room but only because it smelt and felt damp. It was clean and spacious but the smell overpowered you. We stayed in room 1 so unsure if it's just a problem with this room. We were wary of having the window open as it's at ground level. The room and bathroom were clean and... More

Great location for visiting Ceddar Gorge. Lots of parking. There were a couple of picnic tables to use in good weather. There was no noise from the road. Also very close to a reservoir which i walked part way round. A good dog walking or pushchair spot. The room was big and had a double and single bed. The bed... More

We have never had a complaint about the mattress in this particular room as we have never had a complaint about a damp smell. We do not put air freshners in the rooms they are air neutralisers. Which neutralise the air. More

Our group stayed here for one night during our charity cycle challenge. First room had a broken bed, however, moving to another room was no problem. It was adequate for our needs but there's not a lot else to say really.

This motel has large sized rooms with large ensuite bathrooms and parking provided in a quaint village in Somerset. We were staying for 2 nights and it was ideally situated for the Cheddar Reservoir (lovely for a walk) and the sailing club. The village of Axbridge has 2 lovely pubs (The Lamb and The Crown) which serve affordable and delicious... More
