I was looking for a very nice place for my son and daughter-in-law to spend their wedding night somewhere special and meaningful. I visited in secret to check out the hosts and get a feeling for the place. The location was stunning. Delwyn and Lance were very welcoming, friendly and warm. They listened to what I wanted for the newly...

What a great place to enjoy the delights of Tutukaka. The views of Whangamua Bay were absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were amazing. Huge bedroom with sliding doors opening onto the views, a walkin closet and wonderful spa-like bathroom. Just lovely. Hosts Delwyn and Lance, just couldn't have been more welcoming. Amazing house on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Tutukaka coastline. We stayed in the luxury ocean view room for 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer! The room was private and had great amenities- perfect base to relax after a hard day hiking or swimming/diving/snorkelling. Our hosts were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

This place was one of the highlights of our trip. Lance and Delwyn are exceptional hosts. The breakfast was the best we've had in New Zealand. They are friendly and accommodating. The view from their front terrace is breathtaking. Apparently they have seen whales and dolphins from there. There are delightful porch chairs for resting and watching the sunset with...

Totally perfect. This was a great base for our poor knights dive day. The house had breathtaking views which really can't be conveyed in text. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They also offered us a post dive lamb dinner with other guests which was great. They were so knowledgable and friendly and we would love to return such...

Breathtaking views from cliff top looking out to the Poor Knights islands, friendly service with yummy breakfast including homemade preserves made from local produce. We slept extremely well, listening to the sea through our bedroom windows in very comfy beds. We were attending a wedding in Tutukaka and felt we got way superior accommodation compared to local resort hotel.
