If you want somewhere where the only electricity is solar powered, no phone, no tv, no internet, amazing walks and scenery then this is it. There wasn't even somewhere convenient for me to plug in my hair drier, thank goodness I had opted for a short hair cut before leaving on holiday. We took the Pieman River cruise, the day...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The cruise down the Pieman river is still spectacular in wet or overcast days.Corinna is a Photographers paradise. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you return one day.

This place is charming, with its individual old world cottages catering for couples and larger parties. We stayed 3 nights which was the perfect amount of time to explore the region, though I am sure you could easily spend a week soaking up the natural beauty of this place. We were lucky to have 3 rain free days, so the...

We stayed 3 nights in a little house and it was just fantastic - everything about this accommodation says " We care about your comfort!" We felt thoroughly spoiled and really loved the experience. Highlight for me was the kayak paddle to Little Lover's Falls - not because the waterfall is anything special but the setting is spectacular when you...

Thank you for your lovely review, Lover's corner is my favorite area as well. It’s so nice that you can paddle down with the option of walking back through the magical rainforest. Hope to see you again!

Everything about this place was wonderful. The place is quaint and out of the way but worth the visit. Staff were nice, food was good, cabins were wonderful. We were fortunate to have good weather but there is air con and open fires in the cabins

We stayed here a few nights while travelling around TAS on our honeymoon. We wanted a secluded retreat close to nature, which is exactly what we got. The staff and the other guests we met were all lovely and had really helpful advice and tips for the area. We ate lunch and dinner each day at the restaurant and never...

We decided to skip the large cruises at Strahan and opted for the sweetwater cruise on the Pieman river .Just right for 10 minute tourists .We just made the jetty as a tiger snake sunning itself, decided to join our cruise boat . Needless to say a short delay as staff moved the snake off into the bushes nearby .The...

Thank your for sharing your experience. We are having a lot of visits from our resident snakes at the moment. Luckily our housekeeper is a trained snake handler, so she sends them on their way, back to the bush! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay here in the Wilderness of the Tarkine Forest.

Beautiful spot in the rainforest. Time to unwind and forget about the rest of the world. (No tv, radio or phone reception:bliss!) Simple but comfy accommodation in cottages set back from the pieman river. Good kitchen facilities too but you need to remember to buy your ingredients on your way in as the general store on site only stocks essentials...

Thank you for your review! The staff here all enjoy being disconnected and meeting people as well. No summer this year to speak of, but it goes with the rugged atmosphere. Hope to see you two back here again, it was lovely having you!

On arrival the cottage smelt damp and was dark and dingy. We had booked in for two nights and did not bring any supplies with us but never the less we managed The cost of everything here was very inflated but we kinda understood this with its remoteness . Pub food was ok again pricy. Boat trip was ok lovely...

Thankyou for taking the time to give us your feedback. Corinna Wilderness Experience is about relaxing, escaping from the hussle and bustle and enjoying the spectacular untouched Tarkine Rainforest. Our cruise offers a trip down the tranquil Pieman river, all the way to the rugged coast ,on board our lovely historical Arcadia II. A perfect setting to enjoy, whilst listening...

We wanted a base to explore a part of the Tarkine and this beautiful, enchanting village was just perfect! The atmosphere was laid-back, friendly, and genuine - like going back 50 years. And the isolation was a real plus - no phone reception! What a holiday. The meals in the restaurant were delicious, and our cabin was very comfortable and...

We have just spent a night at Corinna. Our plans were open and thought we might spend an additional night but left after the first night as there was very little to do. The weather was cool so not conducive to kayaking. None of the river cruises were operating due to low numbers. If a place like this wants to...

Thank you for your review. The weather here does tend to impede the cruises which are just too expensive to run if we don't have the numbers. Some enjoy coming for the crazy weather, sometimes it just keeps people away. Hopefully the weather will be better if you decide to come back.
