We stayed in a cute self contained cottage, that had everything we needed. Tea leaves for the teapot, coffee for the plunger. We were given a bag on arrival with a packet of water crackers, and cheese. They came in handy. It is a lovely quiet spot. Lovely bush and wildlife. Lots of walks to be enjoyed. They are very friendly and...

Having grown up close by in Savage River we were highly looking forward to visiting Corinna, but to be honest it was a huge disappointment. We stayed at the 'Old Pub' for $370 a night, accommodation was average, the oven had no baking trays and you had to hold the gas on for 5 minutes solid for it to ignite,...

Thank you for your comments. The Old pub is one or our original cottages and is as its called "old". We have many guests that book this cottage 12 months in advance as they adore the rustic feel. We are sorry to hear your experience in the old pub was not a positive one. Staying in one of our cosy...

The location and history of Corinna can't be faulted. Every part of is a beautifully preserved slice of history. We camped so can't comment on the huts but they looked amazing and I'm sure are worth the price. We stayed as part of our honeymoon and expected it to be a highlight. With that in mind and high expectations (promotion...

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate all our guests comments. Corinna Wilderness welcome travellers from all parts of the world to join our team for a season. We have found guests enjoy talking to our staff from overseas, learning about their countries. I am sorry this did not appear to be your view. As you say being in a...

This place is a must do if you love nature and want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The road seems to go to nowhere, but what you will find at the end of it is a tranquil rainforest and wonderful hosts! The food at the Takrine hotel is fantastic and the staff here can help...

The property is in a wonderful spot, and the notion of separate cottages built as replicas of the originals is great. The cabins are comfortable, easily heated and quite well appointed, but not as clean as they might be. The beds are VERY uncomfortable (hard, seemingly inexpensive mattresses). The restaurant is reasonable, and the bar has a lovely atmosphere. It...

Thank you for taking the time to give your comments. We appreciate feedback from all of guests, to assist us with improvement. Corinna Wilderness is definitely a wonderful spot. A small village atmosphere amongst the stunning Tarkine Rainforest, a must for all to see.

Visited on Nov 16 2016 and upon arrival learned that the resort had run out of gas (bit of a problem when everything including cooking and hot water depended on it) What the management did next astounded everyone. Because lunch has to be cancelled and because there were 30 odd people booked into the restaurant that night for dinner, management...

A visit here is like stepping back in time. No phone, no TV, no internet, no slot machines in the one and only pub. All there is to do is to relax and soak up the atmosphere. The village is a lovely reconstruction of old huts and shacks. Pete's Place where we stayed is an original road-mans hut in a...

I am even a bit hesitant to review, as I would like this place to remain secret! In the heart of amazing West coast wilderness, this place is for people who love nature, and appreciate magical Tassie remote West Coast, but yet want to experience it in comfort. Rooms (cottages) are great, we heard Devils arguing at night (wow), restaurant...

We arrived here after a thrilling trip down the western Explorer road. Our accommodation was a little hut up amongst the trees. Very tidy and compact but a taste of bush living. The restaurant served great meals and I had perhaps the biggest mushroom I have ever seen as a main course. Wow, it was amazing. Got quite cold at...

A lovely Inn full of wood and artefacts from its pining past. Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff; I think they like to see people as it can get a bit quiet.
