Third time I have stayed here for work having visited in January and May. Had been fine previously but this stay was not good. This hotel is ludicrously hot in summer. Despite overnight temperatures of 13c my room has not dropped below 26c at any time all week. It is impossible to sleep well as the room is just so unbearably hot all night and the windows do not open enough (max 5 cm) to let ANY cool air in. There is no air conditioning. I have had the small fan on full blast 24h hours a day but it really makes no difference at all. The restaurant has also been closed for the last two days so there was no dinner yesterday or breakfast and dinner today. Told it will not be open tomorrow either. Thankfully I am heading home early tomorrow but it will be on an empty stomach. They did at least automatically refund my breakfasts that I had prepaid. The staff are friendly and it is very clean but in the summer months the heat really is the biggest issue.

Found the Premier Inn Hull West very easily - just off the Humber Bridge on the Yorkshire side. We had a great view of the bridge from our window. The check in welcome was very friendly and efficient - the meet and greet by the wild peacock was completely unexpected but so nice to see that he was tolerated! Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and, unlike the two Premier Inns we stayed in last year, it looked as if they had benefited from a refurbishment. Not sure why but our room did not have the usual sofa bed in but had an armchair instead. This gave the room a very spacious feeling indeed. We were pleased to see that the bathroom already had 2 large towels ready and waiting. It made a welcome change not to have to ask for enough towels for the booked occupants! We were very pleased with our stay - just one night on this occasion - and would definitely stay there again.

It were a warm and friendly welcome, the room were clean when we entered. I personally did not have a great night sleep due to the bed/pillow, it maybe as I do have back issues tho. The room was clean. The food was nice in the restaurant, there was a few different dishes we ordered that they didn’t have specific items and we wasn’t told till asked where they were, the food was nice tho. Overall the stay was a pleasant and comfy stay, I would return.

On arrival the receptionist Maria was very welcoming & helpful. As expected the hotel was to Premier standards. Very comfortable, clean & modern. My room at the rear had a wonderful view towards the Humber Bridge. The location whilst not in Hull, it’s only about 15 minutes on the A63 and close to other routes towards all directions. I’d definitely return here.

Second time we have stayed here for one night before travelling on to yorkshire. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Everything you need for a night stop over. free car park and restaurant next door is very convenient. Just need to move the bins from the front of the reception as this made place look very run down.

Checked in late after midnight - That was lovely then headed to bed. Walls/Sound are terrible in this place, early around 6am I thought I was sleeping in the room next door with them as that’s how loud the tv was. Oh then around 7am I thought it was feeding time at the North Elephant enclosure at the Zoo in the room above. Ahhh!!! So just got up & did some work, then showered & decided to leave 9:40. So thought on way out would speak to reception, OH NO! Couldn’t do that as no-one there as a small group of staff all having fags/coffee’s outside front entrance. Annoyed at this point just decided to get in car & leave. Left a comment with guest relations that took a month to get a response of: We always advise guests to talk to someone sooner rather than later so that any problems can be sorted out there and then. We like to ensure all our guests have a great stay; however, our Good Night Guarantee is subject to terms and conditions. As this wasn’t reported to our team within a reasonable amount of time, allowing them to offer a resolution, we will not be able to provide you with a refund on this occasion. We’ll that was a waste of money Thanks PI

Aircon wasn’t working and the room was unbearably hot. The receptionist simply said ‘we don’t have aircon here’, with no further explanation, despite there being a wall mounted unit, and a leaflet advising how to use the aircon…

We stayed for 5 days and were very pleasantly surprised with the size of room and most of the amenities we required. No telephone in the rooms, so we could not get a morning call on the day we checked out. Also all rooms have bathe with shower, but the side of bath is high, so for elderly, and mobility problems a showere is very difficult.

Premier Inn was a convenient and comfortable stopover for our visit with relatives. We have used the same Hotel several times and always been satisfied. Only complaint is that provision of tea, coffee etc could be more generous given the room rate.

The hotel was lovely but quite difficult to find despite using sat nav. Needs better signage out on main road/roundabout. The thing that lets it down, as with some other Premier Inns is the Brewers Fayre next door where you have to go to eat. The service was bad and we had to send a roast chicken back as it was disgusting, all dry and meat hard. Manager replaced with something else (it was already paid for) and free desserts but we did not go back for breakfast next morning as we were so disgruntled with the experience.
