Spent one night here in August and found the whole experience most restful and comfortable . A spacious and well - appointed house in a very peaceful cul- de- sac yet close to all amenities and within striking distance of London . Every possible detail in the large bedroom had been considered for one's convenience and relaxation : large beds...

We spent 4 nights at Ashburton House and we're happy to recommend it without reservation. Olive Vale, the owner, proved to be an excellent host preparing a superb breakfast for us, on time, every day. Our room was large, well furnished and together with the large bathroom, perfectly prepared for us each day. The Wifi was easy to contact and...

We had never stayed in a B & B before and were not sure what to expect. Our stay was sooo much better than the "good" hotels we had stayed in on previous visits to England. Room, food, environment all exceeded our expectations. We had the Silver room, two twin beds and lovely ensuite bathroom. Wall to wall windows and...

We had an exquisite stay, the owner always found ways to exceed our expectations. Rooms were large, bedding of high quality and breakfast so good ! Amenities and bathroom were very nice, quiet surroundings and parking a definitive plus. Not to forget the port wine in a crystal jug for a delicate night cap, definitely the best B&B experience you...

I booked at the last minute and was amazed with the size and quality of the rooms. I normally stay at a hotel in the Gerrards Cross/ Beaconsfield area but needed to be in Chorleywood. The cost was less than many hotels and the quality was way ahead. Despite me rushing in and out, Olive bent over backwards to be...

We have nothing negative to say about staying here. The room was great (gold room) and the breakfast was superb. The owners are lovely and we will definitely stay again. ps thanks for the paracetamol!

Good points were the big room size, the breakfast, the quiet surrounding, the parking and the friendly owner. The bad points for us were the smelly toilet, dirty curtain, no toilet/bathroom door in our room, the hard pillows, and mixed up in our request for a twin room (which was rectified after I showed the owner the booking email).

This b&b in chorleywood is a great place to stay. The rooms are beautiful (as is the house) The bed is very comfy, the owner (olive) makes you feel welcome and puts a great spread on for breakfast. The train station is a five minute walk or a two minute drive away and couldn't be easier to get into London....

I stayed here with my sister in December on our annual weekend away - we went to Warner Brothers' Making of Harry Potter and then on to London, the location of the B&B for both was perfect, with a tube stop being in Chorleywood itself. We were welcomed by Olive into her lovely home with a luxurious room, beautiful bathroom...

My wife and i stayed here during our honeymoon. Nick and Olive were very warm and friendly hosts. Breakfast was lovingly prepared at our preferred time and always very nice. Eating a full English breakfast meant that we weren't hungry again until dinner time, which was great for our adventures in London. We stayed in the gold room and loved...
