We stayed for three nights at Casita Rio Indio and were so sad when our stay there ended. We even tried to get our rental car for an extra day so that we could stay longer! If you're looking for a relaxing escape or an exciting jungle get away, this is the place. We stayed in two other hotels while...

We stayed there for two nights and it was almost not necessary to leave and go anywhere else. The property is very quiet and when there is no one around you can hear the sounds of the jungle or spot all sorts of wildlife. We woke up to the beautiful song of a bird and during the night, the crickets...

The hosts, Seba & Annick are great hosts, along with Pascale. We stayed in the older cabins which were fine but they have built 2 new cabins which are beautiful. We had a good breakfast and an amazing dinner prepared by Annick who is practiced in French cuisine. Yummy! We went on a Caiman hunt and saw large and small...

It is much better than whatever you can find in this area. The complete bathroom with hot water was a very nice surprise. Don't go to sleep late because the jungle wakes up soon. But then, the morning is magic.

We only spent one night there and regretted we had not booked for more time. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place, great transition for us between a cruise ship and a week in the bustling Panama City. We had no trouble finding it, simply gave the bus driver a piece of paper with the name and address when...

A bit hard to find, but it was worth going there! You are all on your own (there were no other guest when we were there) in the jungle. You can cook yourself if you like (a bit dirty...) or you can have dinner cooked by the hosts. We had breakfast, which was ok. The beds are pretty dirty, so...

seriously cool place and amazing hosts, they know the way around and are glad to share this information with you.... I ad the best time there, jam sessions till dawn, chilling to sound of the jungle on lazy afternoons, waking up to a tucanos dialogue, priceless!... its a walking distance to cold beer, to the nicest river, and with your...

This is an amazing little place on the edge of the jungle. It's very basic but the owners are very hospitable and while dozing in your hammack you can see monkey, parrot and lots of other annimals. If you want to feel one with nature, this is the place. Perfect base before sailing to Colombia.
