This was a pleasant few days' stay with my husband and our Labrador. The castle is stunning and the park around it is great for walks. The countryside in the area is also beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and the food in the castle second to none. The only drawback was that our room (AB11) was a little cold....

My sister and I and my dog Angel stayed at Craig-y-Nos Castle for three nights in November 2016. It is the most dog friendly place I have ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly & obviously love dogs. All the dogs get a chopped up sausage for breakfast and can sit with you in the dining room for breakfast...

Stayed at this wonderful hotel this weekend for a wedding. What a setting!! Truly amazing. You can see that the current owners are painstakingly trying to return it to its former glory and so far so good. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable as was the en suite. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful- just right to soak up the...

If it's raining in the Brecons there cannot be a friendlier, cosier and more comforting a place to be- and this is a haunted, rambling castle! The wood burning fires and chesterfield sofas, and warm and friendly staff just made you feel so at home. And maybe best of all is that they really are dog friendly! Charlie had the...

Thanks for your feedback, it was great to read your description and am sure that the staff will be happy about your positive comments. Stayed for one night for a wedding of which we had a lovely time but to be honest the experience was marred by a few details.. Theatre is lovely setting for a wedding and conservatory is lovely and quite romantic as the sun sets and the candelabras are lite. However, room overpriced at £150 per night for two guests, which...

Visited craig y nos for two evenings for a family wedding. From the outside its very impressive. I like how most of the inside is still traditional but i feel some changes are needed. The dining area could do with more interior to seem more welcoming. Some broken chairs. Bits of scattered furniture. Bit empty Living room area is very...

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that it seems you felt that 2 nights accommodation not worth £200 however it does represent good value for money compared to our standard tariff. The Castle as you found does try to give a historic turn of the century feel and to that degree some of the furniture does have an...

Idyllic location, friendly staff, excellent food and traditional interior. Enjoyed another stay and will return. Very dog friendly. They can join you for food if you eat in the bar. The dog especially enjoyed her sausage with breakfast. The restaurant doesn't allow dogs to cater for people without them. Enjoyable break.
