Craig-y-Nos Castle is a grade 1 listed example of 1840's neo gothic architecture which is undergoing [In parts] constant renovation/repair, but don't let that put you off. This place is dripping with sometimes spooky but always interesting history and in a Beautiful location Craig-y-Nos has a great story to tell, and no one should miss the history tour given by...

We went to Craig Y Nos for my husband's birthday and for our 6th wedding anniversary (consecutively). We got married at the castle and this was our first visit since the big day. What an amazing time we had. The staff were great and friendly, and there was a lovely atmosphere. Since I am not allowed a dog myself, I...

I found the Craig y Nos Castle on Face Book or somewhere similar - the prospect of a Castle set in fantastic countryside where I could take the dogs to walk all day then conclude proceedings with a pint or two in the bar with the dogs curled up in front of an open fire sounded like just what we...

Thank you for your great review – it is good to hear that you enjoyed the Castle along with your dogs – and enjoyed relaxing in the bar by the fire. It is good to hear you understand the work involved in restoring such an old and vast building. It is also pleasing to note your comments about our polite...

Yet another perfect Christmas at the castle. Check in, sit back and do nothing, what more could you want. More dogs than people this year but that's not a complaint (we had three ourselves) Everyone (incl the dogs) are made to feel welcome, more like friends than guests. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are wonderful, esp considering they have...

We have just come back from spending Chirstmas weekend at the Castle and it was wonderful. We went because it was dog friendly and nearly everybody there had doggies with them and the majority of them were repeat visitors, which says a lot about the place. Very homely and the staff could not do enough for us - even phoning...

This is our second visit, first was 6 years ago and to be very honest not a lot has changed on the surface. To be fair I'm sure they have more rooms than last time and the conservatory and gym area look to have been finished since our last visit and they is bound to be things guests don't see...

Badly organised ! No one to meet or greet. No where to put our luggage as rooms were not ready. Thank you for your email. It is unfortunate that you felt that the wedding is badly organised but we do disccuss with brides and grooms how the rooms are allocated and the plans for the day, and what they are looking for. In any venue there has to be a check out time, and a check in time – and...
