We walk from grove ferry to this pub, good 13km round trip.
Mid week thursday night steak night.fantastic value, bottle of really good wine included 2 steaks and sides £25 ..tasty tasty yum.

On a cold winter day, on entering the bar/dining area, we were greeted by a magnificent roaring log fire. A great start ! The service was excellent, the food, for a small village pub, was also excellent. Highly recommended. by ancient pensioner.
