Great for one night stay

I had stayed there before my early flight home. It was very hard find reception (place to get key). It is located on other street in Parking Blu office. Set your GPS there to pick up Keys. Staff there was friendly and helpful even their English was not so good. Room (house) is located behind gate where you can park by your unit. My house #3 had furniture only downstairs. It had shower in reasonable size bathroom. Upstairs was not finished. Room and bathroom were clean and there was also small fridge. Bed was comfortable. I did not try breakfast because I have to leave earlier. It was provided in next door building from 6 am. WI-FI was good. You have to enter password for WI-FI and login as user. All this information are displayed on back of front door. Walk to beach takes around 10 minutes. There are no restaurants or grocery stores around at least I did not find any.…

New building at few km from the airport

We needed to take an early morning flights and therefore chose to stay the night in Fiumicino. We chose this one because it looked close to airport and still close to the beach. The place is (or at least looks like it is) "under construction" in the sense that some details of the residence are unfinished but the apartments themselves are fine. The rooms are spacey and nicely furnished. There is a little but fairly noise fridge (a bit annoying, in the night), good aircondition and fair lightening system. I missed a microwave over and area to wash baby related items (eg food spoons, baby bottles and dummies and so on). Also, we had some fruit and had to wash them in the bathroom tap, The beds were comfortable and we could sleep well though there were mosquitoes. I recommend you close the doors/windows as soon as you check in. While exactly behind the airport runways, there are some 10kms roads to drive. This is around 15mns without any traffic and 20€ by taxi (fixed price). Also, the closest grocery is at some 15mns walking distance and unless you just need to go there once and buy a couple of kgs of stuff, it is pretty difficult to access (unless you have a car). The beach is some 5mns walking distance. You should inform them before about your arrival time and give them a call before you leave from the airport, to ensure there is somebody ready to pick you. While we did both of the above, we had to wait some 10 mns under the strong summer sun before we could actually get in. Not the end of the world but with small kids, it get get a bit nasty. The staff was nice and helpful. FYI, we wanted to visit Ostia from there and local taxi asked 50E even though it was roughly a 12kms trip...so if you plan to go around from here, be wary of expensive taxis!…
