We had a lovely stay, friendly owner, great price, was short and sweet. Well kept room, breakfast provided for if you're on the way, clean room and bathroom. Planes stopped flying around 2330 so time to get our heads down. Recommended for all aspects. 5 starts naturally.

We can't recommend this B&B enough! This is a family run business and our experience was fantastic. The owners built this facility by hand and the craftsmanship shows. We spent 2 days in a 2 bedroom apartment with family and it was very specious and clean. The traditional Italian breakfast and the drinks in the fridge were perfect. Shuttle to the airport was convenient and they entire family was very helpful. We felt very secure within the gated facility. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wow, this place is beautiful, we rented a villa and we loved it. Laura did the check in for us and fixed a mistake we did (only booked 1 person, we were 2 people) all was cleared out in a few minutes. The villa has beautiful, modern and stylish, you can tell they pay attention to detail, thoughtful touches. Breakfast was ready and laid out on the table and in the fridge. We were there the night before our flight, and we had to be at the airport by 540 am, the shuttle was ready by 510 am. Grocery store is 5 minutes away on the main street and Malibu beach 3 minutes away, beautiful beach, it was cold but I can imagine how lovely it would be during the summer. We will come back and recommend it to everyone we know that flies to Leonardo da Vinci's airport! Thank you for the great experience, it was the perfect closing of our Eurotrip :)

I stayed here for one night because I flew in to Rome in the afternoon and had an early morning flight leaving the next day. Both Loredana and Sergio were very nice, friendly and helpful. I paid 10 euros each way for a ride from and to the airport, which was very convenient and fairly priced. I had no problem arranging a ride back with Sergio very early for my 7am flight. I was provided with detailed instructions of where to meet when I was picked up from the airport. The room I stayed in was beautiful and immaculately clean! There were drinks (water, tea and coffee was free, but other drinks were only €1), some fruit, croissants, cereal and toast packets with jams in the room. I read that some people complained about the “breakfast” but that’s what people in Italy eat for breakfast so for me that was totally normal. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I had just spent 3 weeks in Calabria where the water barley comes out of the taps, so for me that was a major bonus! I don’t understand how some people on here can complain about the airplane noise. It’s only a few kilometres away from the airport and marketed as an airport Bed & Breakfast so of course you are going to hear airplanes day and night. I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but you may want to bring earplugs if the noise bothers you. Since it was only for one night, the location was great. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and there are a few cafes and restaurants within walking 5-10 minute walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you Sergio and Loredana for your hospitality!

We only stayed here 1 night before our departure from Rome, but the place is in an excellent location (easy to find), and less than 10 minutes to FCO. The room we stayed in was perfect, super clean, and they provided us with lots of little pastries, fruit, milk, juice, water, coffee maker, you name it! The owners of this place were extremely friendly and they provide a transfer to airport for only 10 euros. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here one night between flights and it worked out extremely well. The owners communicated very well before our stay. We didn’t have mobile phone service, but were able to communicate via email once we arrived at the airport to arrange for a transfer to the hotel. They picked us up within 10-15 minutes. They charged a small fee of 5 euros per person, which is reasonable. But be aware that you need to pay that charge in cash along with the tourist tax. The hotel, which is more of a B&B, is small, but the room was very nicely decorated. It was good size and the bed was very comfortable. They had breakfast for the next day already on the small table for us and milk and juice in the small refrigerator. The bathroom was very good size, including the shower. The owner was very helpful in telling us about a couple of restaurants in the area. There aren’t many, so this was appreciated. The pizza at Lilo & Stich, which the hotel recommended, also gave us a small discount for staying at the B&B. And the pizza was very good. I could also see someone staying here for several days if they want to be close to the beach. It was a short walk to the shore.

On a recent late night flight arrival in Rome, I decided to stay overnight at Fiumicino as I was also travelling south by train the following day. My choice to stay at Aquila Di Mare was perfect. The owners collected me from the airport (extra cost of 10 Euros), the One-Bedroom House had all conveniences including free wifi, the breakfast provided met my requirements, and it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach where I took a morning stroll and chatted to the fishermen. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and also drove me to the bus stop for Roma Termini for free. I would definitely highly recommend Aquila Di Mare when visiting Rome.

Really nice and clean rooms, good sweet breakfast and reasonable priced (10€/one way ) airport shuttle service, also for early flights. Owners were really nice and helpful. Very good choice if you need to be close to the airport!

First let me say, as another reviewer alluded to, this is not a 5 star hotel. The two positives are that it's located very close to the airport and it was very inexpensive, which is why I chose it. We had the B&B pick us up at the airport for 10 Euros one way. The email sent by the owner says the meeting point at the airport is by a large iron sculpture on the top floor of the airport. The sculpture is actually on the floor below the top floor of the airport so that needs to be changed in the email. When we got close to the B&B we turned down an alleyway and parked in a small gated compound. I didn't get a good feeling about the area, but it was dark so maybe I would have felt better if we arrived in the daytime. Having said that, dogs were barking everywhere. The owners live about 20-30 feet from the guest rooms. One of the owners Loredana, greeted us with a half a smile. Some reviewers said she was "friendly." To me, she was more businesslike. For a B&B, I was expecting the owner to engage in conversation with a smile-"how was your trip, where did you visit, etc." but there was no conversation like that. Perhaps because we arrived at 10 pm, the owner just wanted to check us in, but ideally, that's what I would like from a B&B. The room was good but not only was there constant barking by the dogs, but the planes flew directly overhead at all hours. If you want to sleep before your morning flight, this place is not recommended. Now for the worst part. We had to be at the airport at 3 am for a 6 am flight, so we decided to pull an all-nighter and not sleep at all. The B&B wouldn't provide us with a ride to the airport which is totally understandable given the hour. When we checked in, I asked the owner to call us a taxi that will arrive at 2:30 am. She went to call the taxi and came back and told me that I would have to call the taxi 30 minutes before we wanted to leave. I got a bad feeling in my stomach at that moment and sure enough, when I first called the taxi, they didn't understand English. I called again and they couldn't find the name of the B&B anywhere, even though I pronounced it in Italian and spelled it for them. I called again and gave them the address and they couldn't find the address. I called two more times with no luck. I envisioned us missing our flight even though we were so close to the airport and started to panic. I had no choice but to call the owners and wake them up at 2:30 in the morning-I think Sergio might have answered. I explained to him that the taxi couldn't find the place and thankfully he called the taxi and they found us on the main street, which is across from some transportation business. I felt bad about calling them at 2:30 am but I had no choice. I don't know whose idea it was to have us call the taxi service instead of pre-arranging it like I wanted, but this added a lot of unnecessary stress. As we walked down the alleyway to the street, we heard several dogs barking-I'm sure the other guests really appreciated that. I've given you my honest feedback although I'm sure the owner will respond in a defensive manner like she has done for other reviews, which is fine, but I'm just giving you my impressions. I would not stay here again but if you want to be close to the airport, don't want to spend a lot of money, and can guarantee that you will have a ride to the airport, that's up to you.

hi .. I do not answer defensively, but I answer honestly. you said that our B & B is very convenient because it is located very close to the airport, this suggestion I think it is normal to hear airplanes flying (at night do not fly). as regards our shuttle service, on the information you have been sent, it says that it is valid ONLY ON RESERVATION, you have not booked it for your arrival or for your departure, we should have you take a taxi also at the moment of your arrival and invce with kindness and courtesy we have come to take you to do a favor to our guest. you could not pretend to be taken back to the airport at 3 am since you did not communicate anything to anyone, if you had booked the service there would be no problems, we would have organized the service. despite this, we were also available at 2 am we tried to solve your "problem" despite the time. we are always available for our guests. we also welcomed you very willingly to our structure and also saw the time of arrival we did not spend much time to give you the opportunity to rest since the next morning you had a very early flight. moreover it is not written anywhere that we have to stop with our customers even if we still talk a lot with them .. every customer who travels, tells us his story and in this way we travel a little bit too. we are sorry if your accommodation was not pleasant but it does not depend on us. you could pay more attention! if you do not want to go back do not do it, the world is full of B & B! Yours sincerely

We booked this place especially after our arrival in Rome as we picked up our lease car the next morning directly over the road. How convenient! This said, I wouldn’t choose to stay here otherwise as there is not much around that is appealing. The room was clean though and breakfast (packaged goods to serve yourself) was adequate. We were also collected from the airport for 10 euros. If you arrive at night or have an early morning flight this place is fine.
