Stayed here for 3 nights. It's very interesting and natural hotel. You will feel yourself like living in jungles, but with a good comfort. Its possible to see different animals at the territory: monkeys, snakes, frogs, crabs, iguanas, birds... The hotel has very nice beach! And you can get the snorking equipment. Only 20min walk by the seashore to Manzanillo... More

We arravived after a long Trip from San José and entered into the hotel area which is placed in the middle of the jungle. We were welcomed by Jessy the good soul of the Hotel. She explained everything really careful, because there are some poisonous animals around the Hotel (but I have not seen any of them). The Rooms are... More

My complaint letter summarizes my horrible experience! To Whom It May Concern; I am writing because after 2 hours at Almonds & Corals we are literally running away screaming to a hotel in Puerto Viejo. After 12 hours of travel we arrived to find out there would be no food available for 4 more hours. The toilets were not functional.... More

What makes this place special is that it's nestled in the middle of the rainforest, and the rooms are individual huts with mesh walls. If you're okay with the slightly reduced privacy and very natural surroundings, then this hotel is fantastic. The service at the lobby and restaurant were great. The food (breakfast) was also very good and fairly inexpensive.... More

I had already stayed here on my last trip to Costa Rica and could not wait to again. My second stay was even better than the first. They provide a unique experience combining the breathtaking rainforest and surprising comfort. The staff and owners are above and beyond the most polite, helpful, and genuinely nice people of anywhere I have stayed.... More

Great staff, pretty decent fare for meals, beachfront New Years eve with Calypso band, sloths, howler monkeys, terrific rain forest lodging, close to small communities for music, shopping, restaurants etc

This was the most expensive place we stayed. The staff were all pleasant, and the beach is lovely. But I don't know why we paid so much to stay in a tent in the jungle. The hot tub was also a bit small for two people. It is a bit awkward to be naked and then contorted in weird ways.... More

Let me start with the positive things about our experience in this place: - The person in charge (Francisco) was very friendly and helpful with us at all times. As a Costa Rican, I really appreciate when the tico staff in a hotel treat other ticos well, something that unfortunately does not happen across our country. - Because there is... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Almonds and Corals Hotel. It is very nice if you like nature as you are immersed in the jungle. I saw many native animals and the vegetation is lovely. The dinner buffet is very nice and made up of local cuisine. The breakfast buffet is also superb as you can request eggs they they... More
