I stayed there was 6 days as a part of my rural immersion visit. Being December it was chilly in the mornings & nights but cool the other times. We stayed at Pratap Palace on advice of our driver - I would recommend strongly to avoid this. We experienced very gruff and aggressive responses from the staff, who also tried to overcharge us, during which they withheld our passports. In addition the service was awful. This is an average hotel, but indeed a good one for the small town it is located in. The room tariff is small too - under INR 1000 a night. Narsinghpur is the headquarters of the district of the same name, located on the Calcutta-Mumbai rail route. By road the place is about 80 km from nearest big city Jabalpur.... More

stayed there for one night. quite a good place. staff was friendly. room was clean. hot water was easily available. didn't use the swimming pool or any other recreational facilities, so no comment on that. the restaurant in the hotel has good food at reasonable price. only down side: no room service from the restaurant.
