I wanted a place away from all the buses going to Cliffs of Mohr but close enough to Doolin so I could check in on the traditional music or head out for a hike to the Burren. Orchid House BnB is all that plus I had an ocean view looking out towards Aran Islands. Gill and Pat have an easy... More

Our room could not have been more wonderful, very cozy with a great view of the ocean. The house and yard are kept very clean and cute, all the while feeling comfortable like home. They are amazing hosts! I was overwhelmed with gratitude when Gill noticed I didn't eat very much breakfast, she was concerned I would get hungry later,... More

We stayed at the Orchid House for two nights and the accommodations were wonderful. The house in perfectly cared for. Our room was very comfortable and looked out toward the Atlantic. Gill and Pat's hospitality was wonderful and they shared great advice for our time in The Burren. We learned a bit about Pat's history in the area which brings... More

We were only able to stay at Orchid House one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. It is a beautiful setting not far from Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren - very well situated. Pat and Gill are lovely and wonderful to talk with. Gill grilled fresh tomatoes from her garden for breakfast and made muffins from... More

Five members of my family stayed at this lovely B&B in June. Gil & Pat are wonderful hosts. Gil cooked fabulous breakfasts and recommended a great tour route through the Burren. The location is beautiful with the ocean right across the street. Fanore is a quiet, beautiful Irish town. I will stay with Gil & Pat again if I get... More

The location of this property and the owners, Pat and Gill, are fantastic. The recently renovated rooms with en suite bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and our room had an unobstructed view of the ocean. The location in Fanore is a great option for those visiting the Cliffs of Moher area. Gill's impeccable baking and service made our stay a warm... More

We stayed at the Orchid House for two nights. It was the accommodation given to us by Hillwalk Tours. Pat and Gill were such gracious hosts. As we talked with them and they learned of our interests they made suggestions for some changes in our activities. Those changes certainly paid off! We spent over two hours in the Burren there... We enjoyed a comfortable, bright room and nicely appointed bed at the Orchid House, plus a wide ocean view. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade muffins and scones. Pat and Gill are welcoming, friendly hosts who made our stay along the Wild Atlantic Way all the more enjoyable.

Very nice B&B with very clean & comfortable rooms not to mention the beautiful cooked breakfast. This B&B is only a short drive to the little village of Fanore & the great hosts Gill & Pat were very helpful & friendly.
