The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable - BUT - there was no guest lounge, and no opportunity to socialise with other guests, or hosts. We were greeted politely and given our key. We just had our room. Breakfast was extremely disappointing - it did not say on the website that there was no cooked breakfast. In my...

We had a lovely one night stay at Ross House and had room 4, a twin room at the back of the house. We received a lovely welcome from Peter and his wife who had said they would pick us up from the local station as we were travelling by train if we needed it. As it happened, we didn't...

This is one of those stays, when you book a room, expect something decent, and positively surprises you to be even better. Nice people running place and really great rooms too. Nothing negative to say. One of the best places.

We were on our way to Heathrow and needed a place to stay quite close to the airport because our flight was early in the morning. We found this place and were absolutely happy about it! We could park our rented car on property. The owner was a very nice, friendly man. The room was clean and very nice, the...

This is a family run B&B with friendly owners, clean room and good facility. There were three beds and a small dining table in the corner so the room was a bit clamp. Nice and clean bath though. The B&B is close to the tube. However, there are really nothing much in the vicinity. We ended up ordering a Indian...

I booked this B&B from America over the internet and had no way of knowing what I was getting into. I read the reviews and looked at the pictures but was still at the mercy of chance. Then I arrived to the owner doing some painting in the front of this beautiful English home. He greeted me with a huge...

I stayed one night with my son and daughter on the weekend of the capital One Cup Final at Wembley. On arrival I was met by Ken and from that first meeting Ken was hospitable in every way and endeavoured to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room with three single beds was excellent, very clean with everything...

I was there 4 nights in February 2014 and enjoyed my stay a lot. Tony was very helpful and friendly at any time when I had questions. The double bed room was clean and had everything you need (fast wifi, microwave, toaster, television and ensuite bathroom). Hillingdon underground station is accessible within a 10 minutes walk and a bus stop...

We stayed at Ross House for 4 nights last September. The place was pleasant surprise. We expected a nice tidy house, but we did not expect the quality of service that they delivered! It was as if we were at a 3-star (or even 4-star) hotel. And, believe me, I know the standards, as I am working at a 4-star...

I stayed in Ross House for a year on week nights when working in the south of England. Having spent some time staying in other accommodation around the area I got the feeling from night one that this was going to be the place i would settle. Tony and Kath are extremely friendly and have mastered that art of being...
