In spite of living only a few miles away, this was my 1st visit to Burley Manor Hotel. I believe it has had a recent major renovation. I was not disappointed. I visited with a group of friends (all members of New Forest Tourism Association) for a festive pre-Xmas lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Everything was perfect. Attention to...

I brought my wife here for her birthday and have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The main reason for visiting was the choice of vegetarian options for her. Unlike most restaurants where the veggie choice is risotto or pasta covered in Parmesan (not vegetarian), the Burley Manor has put some serious thought into the options available. Do note...

The property is beautiful, with very nice rooms, and lovely staff. I was visiting on business, but would like to return for a weekend get away. I loved the luxurious, yet rustic feel of the property. The room was clean, with a modern bathroom. It was a short walk to the little town, enjoyed the pubs and shops.

Nice approach down a private drive to a spacious car park adjacent to a fine building in an excellent setting. We stayed in what was probably the most modest room in the hotel (20) which is a second floor Snug room directly adjoining the staircase - compact but not cramped, unlike the bathroom which was well fitted and spotlessly clean...

This hotel deserves the highest praise. Not only is it in elegant surroundings, with gorgeous rooms, wonderful staff and the most amazing breakfast menu, it also has the most stunning evening meals. I can't find anything to complain about! The homemade cookies in the room were delicious. It's great to stay in a hotel with no children shrieking and running around...

The barn was laid out for our Christmas party beautifully, with great attention to detail. The food was gorgeous and with many of our guests choosing steak we were very impressed at how well the kitchen and staff handled this, and we really enjoyed the meal! The venue lend itself very well to a live band, and the wood floor...

We were recommended Burley Manor and I'm so glad we listened - its exquisite, the entire experience was bliss and something we'll repeat in the future. The hotel grounds are really lovely and the rooms are very nice indeed. We were lucky enough to have a 'Manor Crown' room complete with free-standing Bath and luxury double shower. I have stayed...

Burley manor is a stunning building in a beautiful setting overlooking a deer park. It is scenic and quiet. The hall way is cosy and welcoming with a roaring fire. The staff were friendly and attentive. There were two lounges/ drawing rooms which were both gorgeous with comfortable sofas, lovely fittings and period colours. It felt luxurious without a hefty...

Had a lovely stay at the Burley Manor. Great weekend trip! The food at the restaurant was really tasty. The only thing that took away from the scenic views were the camper vans parked out front. Lots of Deer grazing close to the hotel! I would recommend it for a weekend break👌🏻

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
