Been going up and down to West Runton since 2004 and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Julia and Cilla are warm, welcoming people and can't do enough for you. They cater for my very unusual diet and I never feel like I am causing them any trouble, because they are so accommodating. The location is beautiful, right on the cliff and...

We recently stayed here for a mini break whilst in Norfolk. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hosts and their friendly dog. The room was clean and of a good size. The vegetarian breakfast was cooked to order and served nice and hot. Recommended for a place to stay.

Beautiful place, beautiful people. We can't wait to come back! We stayed for 5 days and it was well worth it. Breakfast was great, especially since everything is fresh and grown themselves. I also happened to have a health flair-up while on our stay and they were more than accommodating.

My partner and I stayed in this quaint B&B for two nights, and loved it. We were greeted with a warm welcome by our hosts Cilla and Julie. The rooms were lovely and clean, with a brilliant shower and a comfy bed. Cilla and Julie gave us some good advice about the best place for us to visit on our...

I stayed again at Hollyhock House Easter 2015. Its just like being part of the family. A warm welcome always awaits and I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in West Runton. Nothing is too much trouble and the house is situated in a quiet close convenient for visiting Sheringham and Cromer either by bus or the village train. If you...

We stayed at Hollyhock House for six nights earlier this month. Our hosts Cilla and Julie were really charming, genuinely friendly people, very helpful and responsive to our requests. Our room with en-suite was fine, bed comfy, bed-linen fresh and clean, and changed during our stay. We wanted to avoid being tempted by a full sausage-and-bacon English breakfast, and there...

We've stayed at Hollyhock House a few times now and love the warm welcome and homely atmosphere. Everything is spotlessly clean and fresh. There is a large choice for breakfast, most of it home produced. The owners keep chickens and their eggs are wonderful. One room has en-suite shower, the main bathroom has bath and shower. There is free wifi....

I stayed at Hollyhock House in June 2014. It was such a lovely place to stay and I would definitely stay there again. The owners made me very welcome and kindly offered to pick me up from West Runton Station (although it is only a 12-15 minute walk away). The breakfast was delicious, very well cooked. The house is in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hollyhock House is a detached house on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Situated in a private close with no street lights and no through traffic, it's the perfect place to take a break from the noise and stress of life. We have been established as a vegetarian B&B for 11 years. We offer a comfortable tranquil space in which to relax and unwind, and pride ourselves on the food we offer. The breakfasts are generous and wholesome using local organic produce whenever possible. Our allotment provides much of our fruit and vegetable requirements and in season supplies our guests with strawberries, raspberries, plums and damsons, and of course tomatoes. We make all of our own preserves and any surplus supplies are sold at the All Natural Company Health Food shop in Sheringham. We are able to provide breakfasts suitable for coeliac, gluten/wheat allergy and vegans. We are into our fourth year of hen keeping. Every year our trusty broody, Hattie, decides it's time to increase her family. At the moment we have 2 marans, 2 barred Plymouth rocks and 4 light Sussex chicks. We are more than happy to show people the ropes and hope our enthusiasm can be passed on. ... more   less
