We very much enjoyed our trip to Walindi. The grounds were fantastic and we very much enjoyed all of the bird-life around the resort. The diving was awesome, the dive crew were very professional and accommodating. The kitchen was also great - we are vegan and let Walindi know beforehand. They were all over it and gave us great food...

The rooms are clean, comfortable and located in tropical paradise - I forgot what it was like to fall asleep to so many sounds! The day trips however were the highlight, although we weren't divers, we had a fabulous time out on the multitude of reefs, snorkeling to our hearts content. We also did an incredible day hike up to...

I have diving in a lot of places and Walindi rates the best as far as dive site, conditions and most of all the staff, both the dive guides and the resort personnel. Dive sites were easily accessible, at the most 70 mins away from the resort and the boat was fully resourced and comfortable. The house reef right out...

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Walindi Plantation Resort :) Everyone was super helpful and pleasant, our bungalow was spacious and comfortable, the food was good and the beers were cold. There was even a friendly resort doggo for me to hang out with! I really enjoyed our time snorkelling the reef and it's definitely worth a hike up...

The FeBrina, which takes you to some of the most diverse coral reefs on the planet around the island of New Britain north of the main island of New Guinea, is our favorite dive boat! And the favorite of others too! On our recent back-to-back 12 day trips, all of the guests of both cruises were repeat customers and all...

Walindi is doing its best and gets a lot of leeway for its employment of locals, fine facility under constant pressure by the elements, conservation and putting back into the community (building a school). However, the diving is unsafe and not up to international safety standards. You should bring your own equipment and not bring anyone under 40 dives unless...
