We recently stayed for 3 nights, and it was the right choice. The room was lovely, with great views (and sheep!), and comfortable bed. The owners were helpful, chatty and informative, and managed to conjure up some of the best cooked breakfasts we've eaten. Parking was easy enough, and it was a short drive in to Canterbury, with the option of using the local bus too. The local pub was about 15 min walk, and served good basic food/drink, with other options a short drive away. (watch out though, as many local pubs are closed Sunday evenings)

A beautiful bedroom with a wonderful view in a very warm and welcoming household. I was made to feel totally at ease and had everything I needed, including lovely extra touches in the room such as milk, water and a fab selection of tea. Everything was super clean, The bed is incredibly comfy and breakfast delicious! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A home away from home indeed.

Stayed here with my partner, his sister and her partner whilst visiting family. Lovely reception from Sue, everything was clean and homely with nice little touches in each of the rooms. Beds and bedding are comfortable, and the shower is great. The view from the rooms is unbelievable, it's like looking out onto Emmerdale! Breakfast was great - lovely big table to sit around, and a full English with home baked bread, fresh tea and coffee, jams/marmalade and fresh orange/apple juice. You don't feel like you're being rushed out the door when you've finished breakfast either. We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting the family! Thank you!

Me and my wife stayed in this beautiful B&B the night before our ferry took of at Dover. It is close to the harbour (20 min) and easy to get there. Also it is very close to lovely town of Canterbury. The room itself was really nice, big and had a wonderful view. We had the room with en-suit, including a great shower. The bed was comfy and of a good size. Roland made us a very nice breakfast, we could ask for anything. All and all we do recommend this B&B to other guests and will be back for sure when we’re in the neighbourhood.

Stay for just one night sadly but probably the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Great value, large room with a good size en suite and fantastic views of the countryside. Good size car park, Great location to explore on foot or by car. The breakfast was awesome with really good coffee. Thanks for the great hospitality.

We spent one night at the B&B Southease and were delighted by the bedroom and the view. We really felt at home and the host were very welcoming. We also enjoyed the full english breakfast in the morning. Really good experience and would recommend this place. Happy to give the highest rating.

We stayed for 1 night at B&B Southease/Barham... Fantastic and warm welcome bij Ronald en Susan, they made us feel at home in their house. Finn, the dog, included. We had an extra large luxeoury bedroom en-suite with a splendid view on the garden and the country side of Barham. In the morning, Susan served a breakfast "as we wished" and her warm smile and sense of humour. We just can say "we had an extraordinary stay in your B&B runned by extraordinary warm and gentle people". Another stay in Kent will absolutly be in Barham, Southease! Kind greetings to Susan and Roland from Sonia & Jan.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Southease B&B for a couple of nights for a wedding close by. As we were travelling from the Midlands, we gave Sue our expected arrival time, but the M25 car park had other ideas! Both Sue and Roland were so accommodating as we continually put our arrival time further back! We arrived to a cup of tea and a very beautifully furnished room. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and breakfast was extremely tasty. Lovely views are all around you from the bedroom and kitchen, and Finn the Cockapoo made us feel very welcome. When we mentioned where we were going for the wedding, Sue offered to taxi us there, which was totally unexpected and ever so kind. This sums up our stay - Sue and Roland went above and beyond and made us feel ever so welcome. A really comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

I stayed one night at Southease. The room, bedding and bathroom were all very clean, the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice view of the garden. The hosts Sue & Roland were both very welcoming and their cockapo dog was very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with Sue at breakfast. The wi-fi worked perfectly. I am very happy to award the highest rating for this excellent B&B.
