My friend and I went away for a girls weekend and chosen this hotel as our base. We had a lovely time and both of our rooms were spotlessly clean and mine overlooked the lovely grounds. We had dinner the first night and both chose the Chefs pie, which was incredibly nice with really smooth mash and lovely vegetables. The...

We wanted somewhere close to Canterbury, just for an overnight stay, to do some geocaching and shopping. We got a really good deal on this beautiful hotel, for just £49 for a double room with breakfast. We were given a room with a four poster bed, which was beautiful. Lovely grounds, the staff were very friendly and helpful, We had...

On 12th May 2017 we held our wedding at Howfield Manor Hotel. It was a fantastic day thanks to the professionalism and organisation skills of Hayley, the wedding coordinator, and the bar staff etc. Everyone commented on how good the food was and how the day was organised so well. Our thanks forever, Lyn & Terry

We chose Howfield as overnight stop before catching ferry next day from nearby Dover. This location was convenient for ust 30 mins to ferry terminal and near to park & ride for afternoon visit to Canterbury. Hotel and largish room 10 fine but we were disappointed with choices in evening menu for such a well appointed hotel. As another reviewer...

The hotel looks beautiful from outside. The grounds are very picturesque and parking is excellent. Staff is very polite and offered help with the luggage as there is no lift. The room was very warm and so was the bathroom. TV and internet are fine. The views from the room are great. The towels are the best I have ever...

We got married here last year and had the most perfect day so we decided to stay here last night to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the grounds, a wonderful dinner, beautifully presented and a hearty breakfast. The hotel is a wonderful Manor house with lots of areas inside and out to sit and...

If you want to stay near Dover before taking the ferry, which was our case yesterday, don't hesitate to stay in this very welcoming place. Authentic, charming, typical are some of the words that are coming spontaneously in mind to describe very quickly this very British hotel. Staff is very attentive and skilled to accompany you during your stay. Cooking...

We booked for one night after seeing a show at The Marlowe. The room was comfortable but the TV and radio didn't work (not essential I know for one night but surely a basic when checking a room for guests). We had the smallest room in the hotel, it was warm and cosy. The breakfast was nice and there was...
