I stayed by myself for 6 nights and couldn't have been happier. Breakfast was sublime with every option catered for - Juice, cereal, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, toast, a selection of homemade jams, cooked breakfast. I couldn't possibly have fit it all in! The bed was nice and firm, there were plenty of cushions. The room was quiet and dark. Coffee/Tea-making facilities were available in bedroom. A hairdryer was also available. The bathroom was spotless with effective front-lighting around the mirror. My only niggle was the entry to the shower which was a touch snug for an amply proportioned person, but I took it as a subtle reminder that one should watch ones weight! Willows is run by the very friendly Jackie and Tony. They have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into what makes a great B&B experience. It was thorough and professional without being fussy or overstated. It was simply a perfect experience! Well done! :)

We stayed overnight for a nearby wedding. The B&B was absolutely lovely and the hosts fantastic! Very accommodating as we were allowed to check in earlier, incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with a beautiful large bath and breakfast was fantastic! Great value for money!

Located only a couple of miles from Canterbury, it is a couple of hundred yards from the A28. The rural location provided peace & quiet, and a magnificent garden. Tony & Jackie are hospitality industry professionals and are exemplary hosts. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our good sized, spotlessly clean room and the conservatory, where breakfast is served. The room has lots of cupboard space, a very comfortable bed and compact, but good en-suite. We stayed 5 nights and slept very well. The room is cleaned daily and the bed made. Breakfast is served in the conservatory at the back of the house, which has an excellent view of the garden and numerous bird feeders. Set out on the table is a selection of breakfast cereals, 6 types of fruits, including home made rhubarb and ginger, and yogurt. Bowls are provided to help yourself. The fruit is all exceptional - ripe & tasty. Really enjoyed the home grown rhubarb. Jackie makes an excellent cooked breakfast, providing what you prefer. Everything was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Great breakfast and I always left the table full, without any toast. Really enjoyed our 5 nights and would definitely return. Very reasonably priced, considering the quality.

This was the 2nd year that we have stayed at the self catering section of The Willows ---The New Coach House .On both occasions Jacqui and Tony were friendly and very welcoming. The cottage is clean ,comfortable .and well equipped .What luxury to have 2 bathrooms!! There was a welcome pack for us milk ,,bread ,butter etc and treats , towel and feeding bowl for our dog. Location is ideal --near to friends and Canterbury. It's obvious that Jacqui & Tony want to ensure that guests have everything they need and have an enjoyable ,relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend .

I stayed here because I was a wedding guest at Howfield manor. It was ideal & very reasonable. The breakfast was delicious & the home grown rhubarb and ginger was to die for. It's worth going just for that!

A home from home property. Stayed in the twin room with ensuite shower AND bath. Peaceful location despite commercial premises in near vicinity and close to Canterbury - a short car drive. Hosts very welcoming and informative. Breakfast to meet any needs, from fresh fruits and gorgeous yoghurt to full English. This was our second stay and hope to make at least a third whilst son at University. After that I would happily stay just because I want to!

After reading only very positive reviews of this B&B we decided to give this place a try. Me and my 17 year old daughter stayed first 3 nights in the Coach House. At arrival we found a super clean and comfortable 1 bed apartment with all possible utilities in a gorgeous garden setting. The kitchen had everything for daily cooking and we even found chocolate cookies, homemade marmalades, milk and bread in the fridge. The apartment has 2 nice bathrooms with nice soaps and soft towels for us to use. The double bed had soft linens, lots of comfy pillows and a good mattrass. My daughter slept on the sofabed in the living and loved it too. We moved to the double bed in the B&B for another 2 nights and enjoyed our stay there too. Had a wonderful Full English breakfast in the morning. The owners Tony and Becky are excellent hosts and will do everything in their power to make sure you will have a great time. Chartham is close to the city of Canterbury and with easy access to the Ferries and Eurotunnel. Will definitely come back soon.

Stayed two nights in the twin room whilst down for my Nephew's Christening. Excellent hosting, I had asked if it was possible to borrow an iron and board and both were in the room when we came back from visiting family. Lovely sized en-suite with a lovely deep bath and both this and the room were very clean. Now for the best bit. The breakfast was fabulous, great quality produce and I cannot explain just how delicious it was. The bacon in particular was superb! nothing was too much trouble and more toast was always offered not that I could manage it! There was also a range of cereals and lovely thick creamy yoghurt with various fruits, I had the stewed rhubarb which was lovely. Home made preserves were also on offer. All in all we had a lovely stay and for £65 per night for the ease to get into Canterbury and to the Christening the location was great and very much value for money
