Very modern throughout. Clean and fresh. Great facilities in the bar/restaurant and particularly thw room. Room stayed was within courtyard, huge bed and spa bath with walk in double shower. Seating outside room and area for dogs without having to wander through corridors of hotel to get out. Location also good - a short 5 min walk to the main...

Ate in the bar area with the dogs. Ribs and chips with a couple of glasses of Chiliean Merlot. Great flavours and good value. Really good meal and service as ever. Finished with sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Jackie had the Lodge Burger. Great flavour and value. A great place to eat and stay.

We have visited this place many times, we even had Christmas dinner there this year, but this last visit I must admit I was quite disappointed with my meal, over the years this has been what I would consider a "posh pub", however this time I ordered a "beef short rib meal" and was quite shocked to get, a 2"...

Very comfortable, large courtyard bedroom, very friendly and super efficient staff and excellent value on the dinner, bed and breakfast rate. The food was fantastic, everything you could want...

Just returned from a two night stay at the above Inn. Would highly recommend to all dog owners who love Norfolk. Inn situated on the Main Road but the charm of this place was not affected at all. Welcomed by staff who were very helpful. Shown (and helped with bags) to our room, "The Coal Bunker" a little cottage through...

Having stayed at The Lodge Inn on several occasions (usually in the courtyard rooms) we decided to stay in The Lodge Cottage with friends who had been in October 2016. There were 7 of us plus two dogs and the accommodation suited us all. The ground floor comprised a large kitchen/dining/living area which was comfortable and fulfilled all of our...

When we arrived the greeting and check in service was excellent. We were shown to our room and our bags carried for us. We had booked a standard room which although beautifully presented, we found too small.(Number 5) Consequently, we asked for a larger room and were offered one of the suites for an extra £20 a night. This was well...
