Spent a lovely 4 days in the area using The Craven Arms as our base. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast that set us up for a days walking. Evening meal was really good with a lovely choice. Would definitely recommend here and we will be returning when we have a chance to visit the area again.

Excellent facilities, service and food. Have eaten here 3 or 4 times now and it has been consistently excellent. Latest trip was 25th January and the food was superb; beef wellington brilliant, gammon superb, leek and onion delicious. Cheeseboard with the fruit cake is always brilliant and the apple and sultana crumble perfect. If you haven't tried it give it...

We stayed for one night as an two adults travelling with an adult child. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. As non smokers we are often confronted with revolting smelling rooms. This one wasnt. It was at the back of the pub and was quiet from patrons and traffic. The breakfast was absolutely lovely with a good selection...

Booked last minute for a weekend of walking. I had previously visited the Craven Arms for a meal earlier in the year and was impressed with the food then and thought it would be a good base for walking around the Three Peaks area and I was not disappointed. My room was cosy, enormous bed and even though it faced...

I was staying here with my son for a couple of days' walking. We received a warm welcome when we arrived after a 6 hour journey and quickly made use of the bar, with a very nice pint of Ribblehead. The room was good, 2 single beds a long way apart, ideal for a father and teenage son! The food...

We spent last weekend at the Craven. Everything was A1 except at breakfast both mornings it was very difficult to get a second cup of coffee. Some guests were offered a second cup and some were not. We tried to attract attention but with no swift success. Eventually, when it was really too late anyway, we did shout the waitress...

I had a great stay at The Craven Arms at Giggleswick. Proprietors Jonathan and Lyn are always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly - from the hearty and delicious freshly cooked breakfasts (loved the kippers and the sausages) to the friendly bar. The bar is brimming with locals and is a great place to end your day after...

Fantastic hospitality from all at the Craven Arms, really made us welcome and looked after us. The food is excellent as is the selection and quality of beers and wines. Very flexible to our needs with regards to meal times, couldn't be more helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a large group (touring cricket team). The Craven Arms went out of their way to accommodate us by setting up camp beds in usually twin rooms, catered for our 20 strong group dinner very well and then kept the bar open and tolerated our 'music' playing guitars in the bar until late. The...
