This is a very nice cottage, cosy and warm. We met a welcoming bloke that showed us in and let us check in early morning. We had a lovely day out and spent the evening relaxing on the comfortable corner sofa. We had really enjoyed our stay until this point. In the morning We then asked if we could have...

We were all in the area for a family wedding. The two double bedrooms were ideal for two couples and the little family found one of the self catering units ideal for their needs. The bedrooms and unit were well appointed and we were all able to have an excellent breakfast together at the inn. The landlord kindly brought us...

We stayed this weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I booked the Thompsons Arms for our anniversary, as a surprise and we had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect for us, a short distance from park and ride for York and the Air Museum. It honestly felt like a home from home and little touches made such a difference. We...

The staff there is wonderful and accommodating. It is very reasonable priced. It has secure parking and it is very quiet. Clean rooms with free wifi. Close to all the sites with out the loudness of the city. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is going to that area of England.

We stayed in Cottage 1 for a weekend for £180 for 2 nights, and were pleasantly surprised by it. It had a lovely downstairs area with a fully equipped kitchen with separate living area, then the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs. There's everything you could possibly need to self cater in the kitchen, plenty of pots and pans and there's...
