My husband and I stayed at Frome Dale for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend as it is very closely located to Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre (5 minutes in a car). Our room could not have been more comfortable. The bed was comfortable and there were some nice touches like fresh milk and a very cute tea tray...

On a quiet village road, there are no parking problems at this meticulously clean, well-run traditional B&B. The included breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit salad, proper orange juice, very good coffee, a wide range of cooked options and a selection of Dorset cereals, the best money can buy. The room shower is the easiest to operate that I have...

The hospitality tray has the usual coffee, tea etc but it is nice to be given fresh milk too. There are complimentary toiletries, a lavender spray to...

Lovely place, very friendly, clean and comfortable, lots of little thoughtful extras like sweets in a jar, a "forgotten shelf" with request for charity donation, magazines on landing tables. Great breakfast with homemade jams and marmalade. Excellent location.
