We must have stayed at a different caravan park to the last few reviewers, or we have different standards. We stayed the weekend before Easter. Initially the staff were friendly, but could turn immediately if anything was questioned. The grass was long and wet on our pitch. We asked for it to be cut - they were cutting in the...

Thank you for your comments, I’m sorry you did not enjoy your stay especially as you were only here for such a short time. It’s a shame you didn’t mention to us your grievances as we would have only been to happy to look into them and help. In reply to your comments I would just like to point out...

Just on the way home from 4 days at Whitemead. The park was immaculately kept and well equipped. All the facilities were very clean and fully functioning. The owners were friendly and helpful, even opening the shop up for us to see if they had a gas regulator as ours was broken and they didn't seem to mind when we...

A lovely bank holiday weekend camping. This campsite is in a good location, near Wool railway station, where we took the train along to Weymouth for the day. The site is in a small, friendly village with good value pubs, a cafe, chip shop and a general store. This family friendly site is run by helpful, approachable people who work...

I'll start with the negatives as I like to focus on the good things. - campsite is situated next to a level crossing so the trains sound their horn a couple of times at each passing, no matter what time of night..... you get used to it but it can be irritating. - campsite is also situated near an army...

We decided to give this site a go as it had electric hookup and as it's still a bit chilly a heater is not a bad idea (Mrs D can use hair straighteners which apparently is not the reason she wanted electricity in the tent hmmm) anyway we surprised ourselves by turning up at 11am instead of 1pm due to...

Spent a week here before Easter, campsite is very nice, with decent facilities. Unfortunately it's situated near a level crossing for trains and therefore every train that passes needs to blow horn, it's not constant, but it's frequent enough to get annoying. Also I think our stay coincided with an army training exercise as we could hear tanks rumbling around...

Great site, a warm welcome from site owners Roy and Jackie. Lovely large and clean showers, ideal location for railway to Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. Hope to be back again this year for another stay

Very clean site, toilets and showers excellent, we were surprised how clean it was given it was the last week of the season. Owner was very help full and waited for us as we were late. Train station was 5 mins walk and a good service to all the main towns. We will return

Very poor customer satisfaction from owner of campsite. Reception staff very friendly and all initially good. Shown to our pitch and asked how much of the pitch was ours as it seemed very small. Told the whole pitch was ours. Parked up - admittedly we were close to the trailer tent next to us BUT THE PITCH WAS TINY. We...

We do explain to people where and how they should pitch but unfortunately some don’t quite get it right and it can cause problems for other people. As you can see from the photograph the camper van should not have been parked there as it was a second vehicle belonging to the people on the next pitch and should have...
