A self catering studio, opposite one of the village's two pubs. There's a lot to Stoke Bruerne. It's a village on the Grand Union Canal, with a series of locks to entertain visitors and the boat people alike. It's a stunning place, two good pubs, wonderful Indian restaurant, museum and towpath / country walks. just 9 miles from Northampton -...

We had a wonderful stay at the Waterways Cottage, The scenery is beautiful and the Canal is on your doorstep. The Apartment is immaculate and there is everything you could possibly think of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kath and Trevor are very welcoming and friendly and have gone to great lengths to make this cottage a...

We stayed in the Scarlet suite which was very comfortable and spotless. The owner has obviously paid a lot of attention to detail with lots of special touches. The accommodation was clean, fresh and contemporary with its own outdoor seating area. We would definitely stay again and fully recommend it.

Stayed in the Damson Studio for 2 nights. The meet & greet was excellent and the studio was well equipped and comfortable. Our short stay was made even better by the village setting, very picturesque by the canal.

From the moment we arrived, welcomed by Kath and unloaded our stuff, we relaxed in a spotlessly clean, well equipped, incredibly comfy studio at Waterways cottage. So much nicer than staying in a hotel, with ensuite shower room which included toiletries. Kitchen with fresh milk waiting in the fridge, sauces, oil, salt & pepper as well as ground coffee or...

I stayed her for business recently in the scarlet studio which was, unbelievably, cheaper than a hotel. Everything you would expect from a decent hotel but then fully functioning kitchen, fridge, own front door, not to mention the spa bath and romantic mood lighting. The owners could not be more accommodating and will do anything to help you as well...

I stayed here for one night whilst catching up with friends in nearby areas. The owner Kath was very lovely and welcoming and the studio room I stayed in was brilliant! Immaculate, and had everything in it you could possibly need including lots of lovely tea and coffee and cereal for breakfast! The bed was huge and super comfy and...

Clean, bright, airy, excellent location. Grand Union Canal just across the road. Very relaxing, everything provided for breakfast, toast, cereal, milk, butter, etc. All linen clean and fresh. They didn't forget anything, even a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, torch and umbrella. Good, well priced food at The Navigation pub, situated right on the canal (we didn't try the others)....

Waterways Cottage is a very pleasant B&B situated in the absolutely charming village of Stoke Bruerne. The property is located right next to the canal, with it's several nearby locks, and the small road bridge which spans it. Directly across the street sits one pub. And across the bridge sits the Canal Museum, as well as another pub. While we...

Easy to find, easy to park, owners easy to get on with - on the rare occasions they appeared. Facilities and food carefully thought out ('I imagine what I would like' says Kath) - down to a really nice ground coffee. The location could not be more central (staggering distance from the pub/restaurant) and the village itself is at the...
