We stayed 4 nights this week in the garden room. It was lovely, clean and well equipped. Fresh milk in the fridge each day and sheets and towels changed half way thru stay, what more can you want? Me and my wife stayed here Monday to Friday. The room was very clean with " welcome" drinks on arrival, fresh milk in the fridge daily. The sheets and towels were replaced halfway through the four night stay. We had car trouble while here and the owners assisted us even though it was the evening and they were in the...

Excellent guest house with warm and friendly hosts. If you have jumped to the 'terrible' review ignore it. It's absolute tosh! Our room was small but perfectly formed with little added touches such as cut glass tumblers and the ensuite spacious and spotless with all the usual toiletries. Recently returned from this excellent guest house. Joan and Alan did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The Sunset room suited our needs perfectly. Little personal touches made the place feel like home. Excellent breakfasts, cooked to perfection by Alan.We have been to Northumberland many times but never visited this area before. We can only recommend that you stay here if you are in the area. The accommodation is first class, the owners so welcoming and the breakfast as good as you will get anywhere. We had the Sunrise room and the quality of everything was excellent. Some nice touches such as a glass of sherry on arrival give this guest house...

Just returned from a 3 night stay and can only say this is a superb base for a holiday in the area Fabulous location, in beautiful countryside and everything about it was totally superb. Very welcoming and friendly hosts and the breakfasts are second to none. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean.
