Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Carpenters Arms. Thanks Harry for your great customer service. Beautiful dinner and breakfast packages. Ideal spot to forget about our busy lives for a while. Great meals and ales. Only nightly thing was wifi was switched off over over night.

Stayed overnight for a wedding on the farm next door, lovely room with all we could ask for, friendly staff, yummy breakfast. Didn't get chance to enjoy the bar, passed through the perfect country pub atmosphere so will have to return to try it out!

The menu was £25 for three course. All our meals were lovely and the staff, although very...

From the minute we stepped in the door we felt relaxed. Lovely bar area relaxing with open fire. Rooms modern/clean well equipped with tea/coffee and shower gel etc. Dinner delicious as was the freshly cooked breakfast. Would recommend this place (already have done) without a doubt. Will return next time we have another family function in Bath.

My room was tastefully decorated and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and a good size. The bed I remember was also very comfy. Uniquely this pub has three car parks,...

We stayed here last weekend. Room was small but very nice with everything you would need. Didn't eat here but the dinner service looked good and was busy so obviously popular. Setting was lovely on quiet country road. We were eating at the pony and trap a mile or so away and if doing the same make sure you book...

Visited the restaurant for a family get together on Saturday night, there were four of us. All the food was excellent, I especially enjoyed the sea bass on noodles with crunchy vegetables which was delicious. I really fancied the smoked salmon starter but didn't have it as pub meals usually have overly generous portions for me. However, well done Carpenter's...

Met an old colleague for lunch and the meal was very good. Delivered on time with an excellent pint of Butcombe. The soup was delicious, the turkey great and the panacota to die for. Everything delivered on time in a wonderful country pub atmosphere in a beautiful part of the country.
