Amazing view, perfect beds.
Wide rooms amazing for families.
Service is good, and in the cabins near the lodge center the wifi works perfect.
Restaurant is very delicious.
We took the premier cabin.
Service is very good and friendly.
Wonderful stay here as we explored the Glen Hwy - super friendly staff. It was a bit of a cluster when we arrived to check-in, but we were helped within a few minutes. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The shared bathrooms were clean and...More
We loved our stay at Sheep Mountain Lodge. We stayed in cabin 4, which was perfect. Best part...the incredible food (especially the breakfast) and the owner. He was an excellent resource and one of those guys you could chat with for hours. Highly recommend a...More

The two are about five hours apart (more like six in the summertime) and there is one main route. You'll head south on the Parks Highway (highway 1) until you get to the interchange with the Glenn Highway (highway 3.). Take the Glenn north to Sheep Mountain Lodge. It's a lovely drive. You can cut through the town of Wasilla to save a few minutes but it's not probably not worth it if you're new to the area. Have a safe trip!
