Exquisite Simplicity, Connect with nature. Our Jungle Camp – Eco Resort, is a brand-new resort situated by the Sok River and nestled in the Khao Sok Rainforest, Thailand. It mainly boasts Double and Single-Story Treehouses but also has Bungalows, Bamboo Huts and Adobe Houses which have been meticulously crafted by the pioneer of nature tourism in Thailand, Dick Sandler. He has made the experience fully inclusive of the awe-inspiring natural surrounds which offer incredible views of the river, cliffs and diverse wildlife. Our on-site restaurant “FARM” will leave you inspired from its design to its superbly crafted food that comes direct from our onsite farm. The true essence of Farm to Table. The Resort is also springboard to all the tours and activities Khao Sok has to offer including overnight lake experiences on Cheow Lan Lake & Elephant Encounters. By visiting the Resort, you sponsor a nature camp for Thai kids to learn about and appreciate nature. Rustic chic, Jungle boutique.

We checked in for four nights to the Riverside room. We were woken the third night at 230 am by locals in the nearby camp singing loudly and I personally had to get up and ask them forcefully to be quiet. No one in the hotel as all staff leave at 2100. The main water pump failed and no water for a full day. Prices for the local tours are much higher than buying in the local village. Sorry but we are seasoned travelers and expect better.

Nicely located resort with cabins and treehouses. Our cabin was clean and staffed with all you need. However you should be prepared for cold nights in January and the room has no warm bed covers! So better bring something warm to cover yourself during the night on very hard mattresses. Food in the restaurant was delicious. If you are interested taking a hike to Rafflesia be prepared for steep walking in the jungle.

The location is beautiful, the resort itself is in nature and has lovely decor. We are a married couple with our dog on a Christmas break and unfortunately the room itself was a let down. It was quite dark lots of the light bulbs had blown and we were given two single beds pushed together with two seperate single beddings, normally this isn’t a problem for us but due to the shape of the beds it meant there was a big gap in between the mattresses which was not ideal. The shower was brilliant a really hot shower which is just why you want after a day of adventuring. We went on a kayak trip with our dog which was great and saw lots of monkeys and snakes and even swam in the river. The website stated that pets could be looked after whilst you went on hikes in the national park or on day trips for 300thb per day so we asked if it was possible for our dog to be looked after for a few hours when we walked in the national park and if it was possible so we could go on a night safari. Unfortunately when we returned from the night safari we found our dog locked in the office on her own and had chewed through her lead which put a dampener on our experience. All in all I think the our eco camp is a nice place to stay and has a good ethos but the room we stayed in was overpriced for what it was, due to the uncomfortable beds and single bed situations. Although due to the setting and the hotel environment it does start to balance out the value of the stay. If you want a place to stay surround by nature and you don’t have a pet I would recommend staying here. If you are staying with a pet it limits what you can do and I would not recommend leaving your pet in their care.

Very nice area, well maintained, just in the middle of jungle. They have both earth and tree houses. In the morning we had a monkey visiting us on the terrace. We were scared a bit but he was very peaceful and quiet. It's only one hour drive to Cheow Lake.
